Liked: Great atmosphere set by the owner and the people staying there. really good hostel, would totaly recommned it, specially for those traveling alone

Disliked: The hostel lacks a bit in structure, there's one poor toilet with a shower, however, this is not really a problem, comparing to all the good stuff.

Liked: I met some great people. And the facilities they had like wifi, discounts around haas run and free drinking water were pretty good.

Disliked: The property was never locked so it wasn't as secure as I would have liked.

Liked: The owner, David, is an excellent manager. He does safety briefs for all guests, ensuring they know the dangers of the full moon party. He also provides lots of discounts around haad Rin. The building itself is clean and with lounges to play Wii or watch DVDs. Also a place to refill water-bottles...good money saver.

Disliked: May not be the safest as people can easily gain access to dorms...however there are safety boxes to use, free of charge.

Liked: didnt like anything

Disliked: The hostel is bad value for your money. We booked in advanced because we thought places would be booked up for the Full Moon Party. You can find a way cheaper place once you arrive on the island and way better quality. Rooms are dorm style but really cramped and uncomfortable. The beds are located on top of a Thai family's house. The 'shower' we were given was in their kitchen. Dirty dishes, dirty diapers, absolutely filthy. The owner makes you pay over half of the amount that you owe for your stay in advance and seems as if hes always stoned. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!

Liked: Fun place. Lots of things to do if it's raining, which it was :(

Disliked: We didn't get a key, so when we came back the second night and it was locked we had to wake up the lady.

Liked: This was the best place to stay during the Full Moon party, the atmosphere was amazing there are 3 dorms each with around 20 beds and everyone gets on and helps each other out ...the best place to be for a great party atmosphere and to meet amazing people!!! The owner David and his wife are very helpfull and they will do everything they can to make sure your stay is safe and hasstle free!

Disliked: one bathroom per dorm, however was never a great problem.

Liked: Dancing elephant is a perfect hostel for anyone wanting to stay in Haadrin and party. It is secure and the staff is super friendly and careful of your safety. It is clean, comfortable, close to the beach and even you get discount on a whole bunch of products or services into town. David, the owner, is a pearl, trust me on that.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Wow, what a great time! Dave was the best host, after the party he even took us on a private scooter tour of the island. He is always trying he best to make sure that everyone stays safe and has a good time. Besides that the location is amazing, and there tons of great people to meet. highly recommended

Liked: David and Nanda run their hostel well offering loads of helpful advice. The hostel is in a perfect location - in the town, close to everything but on a quieter road. The common room is a welcoming place where u can lounge around watching films. I never worried about my belonging during my stay as the lockers were provided with keys and an extra pad lock was added security.

Disliked: The only downside was that there was only one toilet/shower for a dorm room of around 20.

Liked: David, the hostel owner was really great and very helpful. All our belongings were kept away in a safe and the dorms were all air con. Had a great stay here and would recommend it to everyone. :-)

Liked: I like it so much that i am still here. David is very relaxed and the athmosphere is good. Like any other hostel, it is always thepeople in the place that will make your stay good or not, andhere i meet same cool people.Go it at the little corner, the omellet sandwich is the best brekfast for hangover ever!

Liked: An excellent clean property. David, the owner, is very helpful and seems to know everyone in town and seems to have organized discounts with the other local proprietors. We went for a massage, the masseuses were all giving massages to other people, David went down the road and found masseuses from another shop to come and look after us. Excellent service. The beds are very comfy, the room is well lit, 3 fans and air con keep it fresh, there is a balcony to chill on or hang washing up on. The place is incredibly clean also, not an ant or bed bug in sight. Very good little hostel and made to feel very welcome.

Liked: Had a great time at the hostel, the atmosphere was very good, the owner David was extremely helpful and friendly. The dorm beds are basic, and there was only one bathroom for the large dorm, but to be honest, it didn't matter at all as the other aspects were so positive.
