 Andy and Dashook (hope I spelt that correctly) the owners are very friendly and really made us feel at home, which is probably why we ended up staying so long. The service is brilliant, very efficient while still retaining a chilled out vibe! The location is close, but not too close to Haad Rin, so you can join the mayhem or just relax in peace on the beach everyday. We stayed in a beachfront hut with a cool outdoor bathroom. The restaurant serves good affordable food and there are other things to do if the weather is not so good. Thanks guys, we had a lovely time...

The staff, location, rooms. It is a great place to chill out or party, depending on the time of the month. The owners are some of the nicest I have come across traveling, and always help when they can, and the food is great. I am going to come back to Thailand to stay there again!

Nice character hostel with lovely bungalows beside a beautiful beach - Ban Tai. But far too expensive for what you get.

The staff here were brilliant, so helpful and friendly! Also, top marks for the laundry service. Far enough away from the mayhem of Had Rin but close enough to join in as when you please-the place livened up appropriately as the full moon party approached-we had a great time here!

Beach huts were comfortable and offered a different type of accommodation from previously experienced.

the staff were great- able to organise anything you needed, and there was a free bbq before the full moon party to meet up with guests, which was nice.

Really nice place, great location, great bungalows and great food. Owners were really welcoming too and organised boat trip around the island for everyone staying there which was really cool.

Superb location, has its own private beach. Nowhere near anything else mind you, but scooters can be rented for 200bht a day. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, well all but the totally inept cleaners who forgot to clean our room before we checked in (sand in and stains on bedsheets) and spent the next 48 hours failing to produce clean new ones. Other than that we had a great time. A very good, if expensive, place to stay.

excellent hoostel/hotel. Rooms were good if not a little hot if you only have a fan room. Staff were great! Great place to stay esp for the full moon party as they throw you a free BBQ.

The staff were amazing, could not be more helpful. The location isn't the best for partying, but is just a taxi ride away. Could not recommend enough!

Very friendly staff, recommended a diving resort in Koh Tao. Nice fairly large bungalows. Good location.

Great place to stay for just a stay in Koh Pha Ngan or for a full moon party.
Staff we're really nice and helpful - food was good - rooms were clean(although just to let people know the bathrooms are outside(but with a roof) and it was only a cold shower but this didnt matter really and was quite refreshing with the bathroom outside.) On Full moon party night they put on a free BBQ for us all and it was really good food!
When we left Koh Pha Ngan we booked our transport to Khao Lak with the hostel. However a journey which shouldve taken about 5hours actually took nearly 10-11hours because the company the hostel booked us to go with kept changing our buses and puting us on local non-A/C buses when we had paid for A/C private buses there. Not really the hostels fault - but maybe they should stop booking transport with this company. We have already experienced this kind of thing in thailand many times but I though that booking it with this very good hostel would bypass all the bus-swapping. Very good hostel - but maybe check with them what your transport will be like if you book it with them.

Andy & Datse(I hope thats how its spelt), couldn't do enough for you... A BIG thankyou to ALL the staff, they were ALL FAB... but, a special shout goes out to my pal, Bon, who is the closest you'll get to a Thai, English cockney...& as for some of the people I met staying there... not a bad word I can say about the place... I recommend it HIGHLY!!!!

This was a great place to stay and i would highly recommend it to anyone. We were there for full moon party week and had a ball! The night of the FMP there was a free BBQ which was a great way of meeting everyone else staying in the resort. There is a private beach which was lovely, food was excellent and good price all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great hostel/relaxing resort. The standard fan bungalow was great value for money, it was literally right on the beach so there was no need for the fan. GREAT FOOD!!! really does cater for everyone! The staff there are lovely & speak quite good English they will help you with anything which I have found quite hard in the rest of Thailand. Its also not to far from the port so taxi only costs about 80bht. Free wireless but no hot shower :-(

Had a great stay, relaxing on the private beach. We were just a bit concerned about our passports and credit cards being put in an unlocked filing cabinet draw when we were told they were in a safety deposit box locked away. Apart from that all good.

The geniuine freindlyness of the owner Andy and partner and all his staff who were very amusing and helpful. Very peaceful and beautiful place would definately return.
