The way Thailand used to be - Cliff Cottage is a secluded and picturesque resort. The wooden bar / restaurant is built over the sea in a private cove. It’s a great place to relax.

If you are looking to relax by the sea in a traditional Thai style, wooden bungalow, in a secluded resort far from the commercial tourist chaos then this is the perfect place for you.

Cliff Cottage is a family run, secluded and picturesque resort. The wooden bar / restaurant is built over the sea in a private cove. It’s a great place to relax.
The bar area and many bungalows offer a great place to relax and watch the sunset.
Close to the Bang Bao pier nicely located for those seeking to travel on to the other islands, take boat trips or try snorkelling and diving.

The only noise comes from the sea and all you can see is nature.
There is no loud music and no crazy parties.

It is a traditional Thai beach bungalow style resort.
The bungalows are rustic wooden style and all have a picturesque sea view and double bed the toilets and showers are located centrally.
The resort has a private cove with great snorkelling and fishing opportunities.
Customers have free access to DVD's & satellite TV.

No parties, loud music or crazy drinks. Just relax.

When you arrive at Bang Bao we are a 10 minute walk away. Signposts are limited due to local restrictions.
It can be tricky to find, just ask a local for directions, when you arrive it’s worth it.

If it's dark when you arrive please call us and someone will meet you.
The kitchen closes at 9pm. If you are travelling from Cambodia you may arrive after this time. Please make sure you have eaten before arrival

If your arrival is after 7pm please let us know either by phone, my number will be sent by email after booking, or email.
If you arrive after 7pm without notification your room may be reallocated

Accommodation Information

The rooms are rustic, consisting of a bed, mosquito net and fan.
Toilets are separated centrally and are well lit at night time.
The bungalows may be simple but the breathtaking view cannot be beaten on the island.
Nature unspoilt. No ugly buildings, flashing lights or loud music.

Location Information

Located at the very southern part of the island. Well away from the noise and construction works of White Sands, Kai Bae and Lonely Beach.
7 minutes walk from Bang Bao pier and the gateway to other islands or day trips for diving / snorkelling etc.
