Seven Suns is centrally located in the Old City. A great starting point for all your ventures. Neat Wat Prasingh and the fabulous Sunday market are close by, it is hard to find a better spot. We are a patch of green in the urban jungle.

At Seven Suns we aim to make your stay the best we can, we have staff on site 24/7 to help you out. They can arrange tours, help you learn a bit of Thai language, rent bikes for you and they will make your stay highly memorable!

Go trekking, ride the elephants, go shopping, look for arts and crafts, or simply just relax and enjoy a good meal and have a beer with some new friends. Seven Suns is your Chiang Mai Oasis and home away from home.

Rooms
PRIVATE ROOMS
Our private rooms are cleaned every day, we wash linen every two days or more often at your request. Each room has a large double bed or two singles to suit your sleeping needs. Our theme rooms give you a bit of a change from the standard 'hotel white' during your stay. We have 12 rooms on site including designated rooms; two single rooms, two double rooms and two twin rooms to help meet your personal sleeping needs. Let us know if you need something different from above, we have spare beds that we can also put into rooms for a family stay. Rooms can only sleep three persons. All private rooms are air-conditioned, with simple en-suite bathroom and have television (cable 64 channels), mini-bar, reading lamp and IDD phone access. In addition, all private rooms have complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Check with us for special long stay rates. Private room rates include breakfast, please contact us if you wish to check a price without breakfast, or for seasonal specials.

DORM ROOMS
Our shared dorm rooms offer either fan cooling only or aircon cooling. We have one SIX bed mixed dorm with fan only cooling. We also have a female only THREE bed airconditioned dorm room with ensuite and a mixed THREE bed dorm room with ensuite and air-con. Breakfast is NOT included on any dorm room booking.

Restaurant and Cafe
Seven Suns has two restaurant areas, the outdoor cafe and the inside restaurant. The restaurant is open 0730 - 2300. Smoking is only permitted in the outside area. The restaurant serves a range of Thai and International cuisine that is reasonably priced and delicious. We use natural foods wherever possible and try to avoid MSG, GM and highly processed foods.

Importantly, our satisfying breakfast menu is available all day - you can choose the healthy selection, wholewheat pancakes, muesli - fruit salad - yoghurt, or go for the 'Big Aussie Breakfast' - sausage - eggs - bacon - baked beans - tomato - toast - juice and tea or coffee! Breakfast ranges from 50-140 baht - on average about 60-70 baht. If you just want to sit down and relax, local newspapers and magazines are readily available and we have a limited selection of books to exchange.

Our shakes are guaranteed brain freeze - superbly refreshing in the Chiang Mai heat - fresh seasonal fruit crushed with ice and a splash of homemade syrup – Yummy! Add yoghurt, ice cream or milk to the mix - your choice. Or try our ice cream milkshakes.

At Seven Suns we try to be a little bit different, our rooms and dining areas incorporate Feng Shui symbolism to make you more comfortable and we recycle, reduce and reuse where we can.

Accommodation Information

Choose your own room at Seven Suns. We have twelve individually themed rooms which we will try to change to suit your sleeping needs. On site we have eight private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, large comfortable beds, tv with satellite, minibar, fridge, reading lamp, complimentary tea and coffee and ensuite bathrooms. Breakfast is included on all PRIVATE room bookings and we offer a selection of hot, cold and Thai meals for breakfast, cooked fresh any time betwee 0700 and 2300. Breakfast is not included on any DORM room booking.
We also have two airconditioned dorm rooms with ensuite bathroom, which sleep three people (1 mixed and 1 for females). We also have one dorm room (mixed) which sleeps four and only has fan cooling. Dorm room bookings do not include breakfast.

Location Information

Seven Suns is in a great central location near to Wat Prasingh and Wat Chedi Luang in the old city. The best weekend market on Sundays is only a block away. The night bazaar area is an easy seven minute walk away. We are located well for access to all forms of public transport and can arrange all transportation needs, bicycle hire, scooter hire or car hire, tuk tuk and taxi.
