Liked: This place was a surprise for me. A good surprise! The rooms are really clean and staff very friendly! For this price I was expecting something much less confortable. I was in a shared room for 4 people with a bathroom inside, just for us.

Disliked: There is just one key for each room! We were 4 in a shared room and we had to ask the staff to open the door or leave the door open for the next to come becouse after 10pm de reception is close.

Liked: It has beautiful gardens with hammocks you can chill out in, no noise and you get left alone.

Disliked: thankfully I was travelling in a group as when we arrived, no one else was staying here and I don't really think you may meet other people here. As they only offer breakfast (coffee and toast) you do have to venture out, There is however a coffee shop which is open until 7pm and a 7/11 ten mins walk down the road.

Liked: Quiet residential area. Easy to walk to the Old City. Cheaper internet cafes than other parts of Chiang Mai. The new reception lady from central Thailand is really sweet, friendly and incredibly helpful.

Disliked: The internet was not working when we stayed there.

Liked: cheap cheap cheap and clean. A 30 min walk from the city, 60-100 bhat in tuk tuk. NO lockers in dorm!!! But feels pretty safe anyways. I had the 4bed girls dorm all for myself and had a very good sleep (good matrace). Aircon is only for decoration, but the fan is ok. Very few people at this place as its a bit far away. But very nice building and surroundings. Good for rest and quiet nights. wireless for 100 bhat, but sometimes very slow connection. You can find fast nternet for 10 bhat/hour in town.

Liked: I obviously booked online for my stay but they had no record of it despite my reference number. So i have lost my deposite plus the room was more expensive as I had booked a single room but ended up in a double room which was more expensive. The reception was not open so I had to wait 30 minutes for my key. It is not easy to be understood in this place as Englishwas not widely spoken to a good extent. Overall, a disappointing stay in a place too far out from the main city. Do yourself a fvour and stay inside the city moat area for cheaper.

Liked: Hostel was as described on website. Cheap, simple and clean. Just outside the old city, easy walk to most places. In a quiet and seemingly pretty well off residential area.

Liked: it is a bit out of the city center but still in within the walking distance, the hostel is situatd in a nice residental area and has a huge garden, all in all it is very quiet& nice.

Liked: This place is a hidden gem! Unfortunately, the owners have not done a particularly good job of marketing it. What needs to be stated is that the hostel is in a very nice, smart residential suburb and is only 500 yards from the walled city (where most of the action is).The hostel is set in its own grounds, with a massive, well kept lawn and garden - ideal for catching a few rays. There were only 4 guests whilst I was there, so it was very quiet. Continental breakfast (coffee / tea/ toast and jam) is complementary.The staff speak good English, and are vey helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Quiet and safe. There is no curfew and the setup is simple and clean. Staff are great and the yard is wonderful for sun tanning or playing games.

Liked: Very quiet and calm - great after being in Bangkok busy city. After booking for 3 nights decided to stay for an extra 2 , so stayed here for 5 nights in total, as it is clean and cheap. Very good value private rooms, and good priced tours compared to similar ones on the street.
