Liked: The double room is spacious, clean and with own bathroom & shower. beds are hard but thats usual im Thailand. The guesthouse is located in a nice quartier with shops, cafes, restaurants, laundry... everything you need. Anyway it is not in the centre, so you have to take a taxi or walk quite a while. If you dont mind and like not so touristy places it is perfectly fine.
Disliked: We arrived very late in the first night and the reception was already closed. We had to look for another room for one night just because they did not care. Checkin time was nit written anywhere. At least we do not had to pay for that lost night even having a booking. When reserving a cooking school day, the guy from the reception told me pick up time was in the morning and confirmed me the booking of a morning class(they are longer and you can also see the farm of the cooking school ) but when I was ready at 8 am next morning, no pick up was scheduled as they changed the booking to the afternoon! Nobody tiold me anything! not very nice ibdeed! If you are lucky and catch the lady everything is fine, she is very helpful and friendly and speaks good english as well. But dont count on the other two men, no English and very bad in their job.

Liked: Staff were pretty helpful, room was pretty good as well
Disliked: The room smelled a bit musty, the bed was too firm, and it is pretty far from the center, which there were things I liked about it, and disliked about it.

Liked: This is a great place to stay if you do not want to be in the busy tourist part of town. If you don't mind walking you can easily make your way to the old city, as well as the Nimmanhaemin Rd. area by foot. There are many small restaurants nearby and although many do not have menus in English the food is cheaper and better than that found around the Tha Pae Gate area. The staff was very helpful and even stayed up until we arrived at 11 PM (2 hours late due to train delay). The refrigerator in the room is a nice bonus and they have free coffee, tea, bread, and water downstairs in the kitchen. The wireless internet signal was very strong and reliable. I would recommend asking for directions in Thai if you are not being picked up by the staff as it is not on a main road and many Song Taew/Tuk-tuk drivers may not know where it is!
Disliked: Norika left no negative feedback.

Liked: This might be the best hostel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. This is due to the staff giving such excellent service. They go out of their way to accomodate and assist you in anyway they can.The hostel is close to the airport and only a short walk to the inner city. The rooms are clean and the facade of the building is fresh and new. It's easy to meet the other guests as people tend to congregate around the free internet and free coffee and bread in the morning. They have clean kitchen facilities and coin laundry. If you come to Chang Mai DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND STAY HERE!
Disliked: Thomas left no negative feedback.
