Liked: Good location and clean rooms. Free wifi throughout the property. The guys helping with breakfast are very nice. So is the girl working the evening shift.

Disliked: Stayed here two years ago. The staff was friendly nearly 100% of the time. Stayed here last year. The staff was friendly around 70% of the time. This trip, the staff has been friendly less than 50% of the time. And it's mostly the same people. I guess after seeing thousands of guests, my friendliness would decrease as well.

Liked: it has a pool! breakfast included, 2 minute walk to the crazy busy streets. free internet, gym very helpful staff for information on excursions. We took a day trip to Chiang Rai and left at 7, breakfast does not start here until 730 and the staff still made us breakfast. You can padlock/combination lock your own room, tv , ac, private shower, and a western style toilet, and they gave you bottled water when you check in

Disliked: i little pricey $15 canadian a night lots of cheaper places but you get a lot here

Liked: Very close to city,what l would of expected considering the price l paid.

Disliked: on my second visit the valance sheet around mattress was filthy- it must of been used a floor cloth, bed comfortable and clean sheets.

Liked: Rooms are of a nice size and there are some nice chill out areas including the pool which are good to just sit and relax and meet new people. Staff are friendly and helpful. Is located close to the old city and good location for all other areas of Chiang Mai.

Disliked: No dislikes, only ate breakfast here which could have been a little better but was still more than adequate.

Liked: good location, most of the staff are really sweet and helpful

Disliked: Breakfasts were a bit small and the pool turned a nasty pond green while we were there. When I asked why I was told that it was only clean for 4 days a week - I didn't really understand but I didn't want to get in it!!

Liked: Good hostel, basic room, but good value for money

Disliked: The package tour booked at the hostel to Luang Prabang was not that neat: After tbey have sold the slow boat, they tried to rebook for the bus and they charge at the border some "extra" fees which are not really necessary.

Liked: The pool was a great way to cool off and the staff were very helpful in arranging tours etc.

Disliked: Showers were lacking somewhat and often there were ques for the computers as there were only two.

Liked: Couldn't recommend enough! Great facilities - gym, computers, laundry etc and perfect location too. The lady on the tour desk is incredibly helpful and made our stay. The staff are great - my boyfriend left thousands of baht in his trousers for the laundry, and they actually kept it aside for us. Amazingly honest!

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: This hostel is in a great location! They also have a booking desk right in the front where you can book all of your day trips - very helpful. The breakfast was hot and delicious every morning and the rooms were always clean. Like staying in a hotel! I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Chiang Mai!

Liked: The pool is a big plus, but was dirty most of our stay so we couldn't enjoy it due to this reason. The location is good, in walking distance to the the night bazar or other fun places. We had transport to the airport done through them for 150baht per car. They have free luggage storage room. Is close to the bank and you can rent a scooter for 180 baht for 24h from near by down the road.

Disliked: The lock at the door wasn't good as at time it got blocked, or sometimes it wouldn't close. The lady from the reception named "Joy" was very arrogant, plus my boyfriend is black and she never looked at him or faced him in a very obvious manner, which I find a bit racist as she would speak nicely and smile to the other white guys waiting at the reception just like us. The pool was dirty for our first 2 days probably because of the rain, but they cleaned it after this and on our last day we got to swim for a bit. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting, as we found hair in the omelette and I took photos of this, plus the eggs were almost raw and the portion ever so small. The rooms were meant to be cleaned daily. I had a clean towel before on arrival and when I came back from visiting the town I had a new "clean" one with a big black smudge on it, not from me. We ended up staying for 4 days and on day one I cut my leg after shaving and a small stain of blood came on to the sheets. Until the last day the stain was still there but on a different side of the bed as they turn the sheets inside out and from one side to the other to look like they were changed. The internet is almost non-existent as I could not even once use the internet to log into my yahoo mail. I had to go to the internet cafe. I didn't like that fact that every time we left the building we had to leave the key to the reception and with the arrogant lady there wasn't a pleasant moment to go through few times a day for 4 days. The AC is struggling to cope with the heat and we slept with it on most of times. The shower has a very low pressure and couldn't wash my long hair properly.

Liked: Very clean lots of areas to put your clothes and bags away. Fridge is nice. Very clean and pool is nice

Disliked: The wifi in the room is not very good. You need to bring your own lock for the safe. The handle on bathroom door was broken
