Liked: Room was really good, had a lot of space and a fridge! Air con was a bonus and having our own safe was handy, wifi was really unreliable and so were their computers. The cleaners seem to come around whenever they want and are really noisy! Otherwise great hostel to stay at, very central and easy to get to the awesome shopping!!!

Liked: Very nice hostel. Location is great, walking distance to everywhere within the moat and further if you dont mind the walk. 15 minute walk to the night bazzar. Rooms are very clean and spacious. We were given clean towels every day. Breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is ok for a free breakfast, though not very big portions. Staff are friendly and helpful, free internet is a huge plus (6 pc's in the computer room plus 1 at reception) and free drinking water available too. Definitely recommended.

Liked: Excellent all the way with this property, the staff were fantastic always ready to help. Well worth booking any tours through the reception, the tours on offer were cheaper than most of the agents around the town. This is excellent value for money, and the swimming pool is a definate added bonus to this property. The staff were more than happy to arrange extra nights on a day to day basis. We will definately be staying here again.

Liked: A good location and a really clean place to stay with helpful staff. Don't come here if you're looking for somwhere lively - instead come here if you want somewhere clean, quiet and friendly to relax.

Liked: I had originally booked for 2 nights, but I wasn't happy with my earlier accommodation in Chiang Mai, so I asked if I could book in earlier. It was a good choice. The staff were helpful when there was a problem with the toilet in the room & fixed it straight away. They were generally helpful with any queries. They had a private car available for transfer to the airport at 250 Baht. Advertising for various tours was prominent in the foyer, but the staff did not hassle for custom, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable, the swimming pool was a bonus, & also the free Wifi & internet.

Liked: Very safe, close to the markets to about 15min walk from the busy party area, close to temples. Pool was lovely and the rooms were spacious and clean with comfy beds.

Liked: Great location, very clean, good bathroom. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor area breakfast was included. The staff were extremely friendly. Would highly recommend MD House

Liked: Very good hostel but no locks on the door. You can add your own padlock but then your room cant be cleaned. Other than that, great hostel. Good staff, good location, good services.

Liked: Convenient location in old city, set back from the main road. Small pool, free internet and friendly staff. Wouldn't desribe it as a 'fun' place, but thats not what I wanted. Wide age ranging from young backpackers through to retired people.
