Liked: Lovely pool & big rooms.

Disliked: Far too far from Chiang Mai leaving taxis as the only option to get around! Also full of people who seem to have been there forever so not really very welcoming. Resaurant was also very over priced.

Liked: really loved liams Suan Dok. Rooms very huge and very comfortable. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was amazing as well. Pool was gorgeous, atmosphere was warm and friendly and couldnt have asked for more. Would really recomend. However you should be comfortable with dogs if you go here. They are all really friendly dogs but there are quite a few of them.

Liked: We stayed here for 4 nights and considered staying longer. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and looked exactly the same as the photos on the internet which is very rare! and the breakfast which was included was excellent - I can't recommend the banana pancakes enough!Liams has quite a secluded setting with a very clean swimming pool, lovely garden to relax in and an eating area with a little bar. We also ate here two evenings and loved the food. Daphne who owns/runs it is very friendly and helpful and has created a 'home from home' feel rather than a guest house and being small in size (about 8 rooms) creates a more intimate feel and we were lucky to get chatting to some other lovely guests.The only downside for us was the location as it's about 10 minutes by taxi from Chiang Mai old town, but if you're not afraid to ride one of the scooters Daphne provides then this shouldn't be a problem.I would happily recommend Liams.
