Liked: had a wonderfull stay here, i would really recommend it to everyone who goes to changmai! also do the siam rice cookinglesson, very enjoyable!

Liked: Incredible hostel, amazing bathrooms, clean, very friendly staff. Cheapest trekking tours in all of Chiang Mai and cheapest cooking classes. Great value!

Liked: It was the cleanest hostel we've stayed in the last five months. Not really "bad" things about this place. We just didn't found the staff as friendly or warm as people tell on hostelbookers. Maybe it was us, maybe they had a bad two days. But it was "bad enough" for us to move to a friendlier accomodation that made us feel more welcome.

Liked: The Green Tulip was a great place to stay, the cleanliness was excellent! Staff were constantly cleaning. The cafe offered a good selection of meals, at reasonable prices and the food was lovely. The staff were always willing to help and were invaluable when it came to booking tours and onwards travel. I would definately recommend the Green Tulip for people on all different budgets.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and remembered my name everytime I entered and exited the building. They offer free internet to guests. The rooms were clean, but very hot, there were only fans in my dorm room and the heat was unbearable at times. The location was ok, a bit of a walk from the commonly frequented bars on the other side of town, there wasn't a whole lot of choices for food nearby other than the actual restaurant on the property, which was fairly pricy for a backpacker hostel. It was very easy to find.

Liked: I loved the location, close to everything but not in the thick of it. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. The facilities are very nice, nice communal areas and very clean. I f I come back to Chang Mai I will definitely be staying at the Green Tulip.

Liked: we had a great stay here.the place is as clean as they come.the staff have all the information you need in any activity you want to persue while you're in Chiang Mai.Nine and Stella are brilliant.they will help you with anything you need.they were so friendly.you can't go wrong here

Liked: One of the cleanest guesthouses I've ever stayed and the staff were very firendly and helpful. Is a little bit too far from the bars and restaurants - maybe a 20 min walk and I didn't find it to be that social.

Liked: Amazingly clean and easily the cleanest hostel I have visited. Fantastic staff and I would have stayed longer if an AC room was available and it was on the east side of town..closer to the night market and bars.

Liked: You must stay at the Green Tulip house, it is without doubt the most solidly build, immaculately clean, but friendly and value for money place I've ever stayed in the world. It has character, the solid wooden floors and wide staircases belong in a stately home and the design touches are simple and elegant. No tuk-tuk drivers have heard of it though so try to remember the address for when you arrive. You won't regret staying here. Enjoy.

Liked: really friendly and helpful staff. all tours/buses etc can be booked from the hostel and you AREN'T charged tonnes of commision, everything is very reasonably priced. The food is great, although more expensive than you can normally get. Stella, the cook,is crazy!
