Liked: Just like home - lovely communal area with cushions, TV and a good collection of DVDS, free internet, breakfast around a big wooden table and free pick up/drop off service at the airport.

Liked: The atmosphere is fantastic. Pong (Manager) is a always really helpful. He organises daily activities, or for those who just want to chill the rooftop sun is the place to be. Such a friendly environment i can wait to come back.

Liked: This is the best hostel - stay here!!!! Is just like staying at a friends house, welcoming, really friendly with a warm family house feel about it. This is maybe because up until recently that's what it was, a family house and all they've done is add a few bunk beds. The place is spotlessly clean, can arrange to take you on treks, staff are just so friendly and enthusiastic, can enjoy a drink on patio, use free internet, watch a movie or DVD in one of two lounge areas, sit on the roof terrace, generally treat the place like home! Cannot reccomend this place highly enough - stay here!

Liked: Pong was a huge help organising the rest of our trip. The only dissapointing thing was that we couldn't stay longer! We'll definately stay here again next time we're in Chiang Mai.

Liked: I arrived in the morning and the proprieter (Pong) welcomed us and checked us in. The house has a great atmosphere and the staff and guests really made it a quality experience. Pong is always doing something to introduce you to the wonders of Chiang Mai (Kantoke dinners, night trekking, 2-3 day hikes, etc). If there's anything else you can think of doing, the Spicy Thai staff can help you make it happen.

Liked: pong is awesome and by far the best host in any hostel i've stayed in, the place is clean and really feels like a hotel! without a doubt the best stay u will have in thailand!!!!!

Liked: Pong - great help, wonderful tour, had great fun, cool parties, abundance of thai whiskey and rum. Feels very homley and welcoming, you can really relax and feel safe there. Quiet location, close to everything you want to do. Staff speak excellent english and will organise anything for you. Will be back again. You will not regret staying here.

Liked: Staff is very friendly and professional. The house is nice and peaceful. The location is really great, only 5 minutes from the old city and in the best area of Chiang Mai near University and lots of great pubs and restaurant.

Liked: quiet setting not too far from the town. free breakfast, free and super fast internet (if working,but this is thailand). rooftop.. wicked. Nice, chilled, clean and friendly. Pong(the owner) is a great host with lots of advice and interest in whatever you wanna do. Including burning your photos onto c.d. ! the best place i have stayed in since i have been in thailand.
