very very friendly staff, also extremely helpful. Gorgeous food, at very good prices. lovely surroundings. peaceful. clean rooms. can organise all your trips. we even stayed extra nights. not too far from anything. supermarket nearby. night market and local markets nearby. good priced accommodation for all your basic needs. we stayed low season so didn't meet many people.

So so cheap! Quite basic but for so little money you can't complain. A great base if you want to go trekking around Chiang Mai as the hostel can arrange treks of various lengths for you, store your bag whilst you're gone and also arrange cheap transport for when you want to move on. And free airport pickup!

It has a very homey atmosphere and it's exactly what you want when you are so far away from home. The food is also excellent.

Great atmosphere, great location (Just outside of town but within very easy walking/tuk tuk distance) and the staff were very friendly and helped us organise an amazing trekking tour.

Friendly and helpful staff. Accommodative to requests. However, would wish if the staff could be at attendance at the reception area more often.

It was quiet and out of the way of the city, and they had a wide range of trips/treks they booked (last minute even) for us

We only planned to stay 3 nights but stayed 8 nights, lovely people, loads of stuff to do. Bathrooms aren't great but what can expact for 2 pound a night!!!! Excellent value for money, with drinks, meals, laundry and stay we only spent about 45 pound for 8 days. Beds a lot more comfortable than other more expensive hostels we've stayed at. About a 20 minute walk into the centre but loads of stuff nearby like restaurants and shops etc. Also if you need the use of a pool there is a hotel near by where you can pay 50baht, it's across the main road on the opposite side of the river, i think it's called the diamond hotel.

The staff are brilliant, they help you everyway they can, be it booking tours, or if you are ill making you drinks to make you feel better. They pick you up from the station or airport and do not pressure you into booking tours.

This hostel had a lovely garden which was great to sit in and recharge after walking about and trekking in the mountains. We LOVED the 2 day trek organised through the hostel and would highly recommend it. The only criticism is that the bathrooms are getting a bit tired, but then for the price, this place is still fab value. The staff were great too.

Great tours, laundry service, restaurant - all for cheap, just like you'd want. (Rooms are very low quality but bed is comfy. Shower works but not attractive.)

We organised the free airport pick up with the hotel but they forgot and we paid for a taxi. They were very apologetic. Might be worth emailing a reminder if you book the hotel wellbefore arrival date.
Great value for money, a short 10 minute walk to the Night Bazaar. Great food in their restaurant and lovely rooms which you can put your own padlock on. Bring mosquito spray there are lots outside.Inside have screens.
We did a "Pad Thai" cooking course for 700 Baht which was great!Booked through a tour agent.
