Liked: I cannot rate this guesthouse highly enough! Everything was perfect. Excellent location just outside of the old town, within walking distance of everything. The Night Bazaar and Tha Pae Gate area are a comfortable walking distance away, and there are lovely riverside bars and restaurants just a few minutes down the road. Fantastic tour booking service - they can arrange absolutely anything. Rooms were spacious and clean and the guesthouse has a lovely leafy garden with hammocks and a table. We had to cross a very cute pond with stepping stones to get to our room! Breakfast and sandwiches served throughout the day. The best part for us was that they operated a tab system where you pay for the room, tours, food and drinks from the fridge (which you keep a record of in a notebook during tour stay) at the end when you check out. Very convenient. Roger and all the staff are incrdibly warm, friendly and helpful and made us feel very at home. If you are staying in Chiang Mai, Parami is the place to stay!

Liked: Roger was very helpful. Good coffee and breakfast menu. Lots of information available on activities and local exploration. The back garden is very pleasant quiet spot for breakfast. Very well managed.

Disliked: Smoking is allowed in some areas. Our first room, downstairs near the road, was noisy.

Liked: lovely garden at the back; free wifi; nice breakfast menu; good riverside location - doesn;t do evening meals but there are several good riverside restaurants. I recommend Regina a riverside restuarant at the back of a very quirky antiques store,

Disliked: a little bit of noise from the street; but not too bad.

Liked: Loved the friendly staff, the cleaniness and atmosphere. The spa and massage services were the best ever.

Liked: Very good place to stay...Although a little far away from the old city. But very quiet and clean. Nice stuff! 果断推荐给中国同胞啊!!看到的就果断住了!超好的地方!房间整的很干净都有熏香..总之各种好呀!

Liked: the staff there are very friendly and their little boy is cute~the reception is well decorated. Our room is clean and also beautiful.

Disliked: mosquitoes...but you can't blame them for the hot and humid climate.

Liked: It was very good value for money. It was a bit of a walk into town but out of the way of all the crazyness

Disliked: Having no access to internet or drinks ( services ) after 9pm & breakfast was a little late starting if you are planning on a tour day out. Lovely food though :)

Liked: Really great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, amazing hot shower, friendly staff and good tour facilities. (Try to get an upstairs room if you can).

Disliked: Can get a bit noisy at night, as it's on quite a busy road.

Liked: Comfy bed, clean sheets, hot water 24/7, helpful owner and English type breakfasts!!

Disliked: The WI-FI was turned off about 9pm and the tours are a little overpriced compared to what is offered in town (as with every GH)

Liked: the owner was amazingly helpful, organised our trips/buses etc...and gave us directions to everywhere.

Disliked: they run a tab service, as in you write down everything as you eat it drink it, tours you do etc then pay when you're leaving...which is excellent...but they don't take credit card!! So you have to take cash out for this.

Liked: The place was very rustic and old--quite beautiful with age. I loved the wood of the house and the hand picked furnishings. Everything was quite nice.

Disliked: Nothing much to dislike as long as you are comfortable with it being nice and small. :]

Liked: Roger and his staff were very helpful, they sorted out our Trek and Cooking course, plus we had a free massage thrown in for when we got back from the trek (much needed!). When we went off to do the trek our backpacks were stored away and the night we stayed in the jungle was taken off of our final bill. Room was basic but clean with Aircon and private ensuite. At this price you can't really go wrong. I saw there was a few bad comments about the Free internet connection but I had no problems with it apart from the wireless signal wasn't too strong and not really fast enough to upload pics/vids to facebook....but at the end of the day its a free benefit so can't really grumble about it.

Liked: For budget travelers is very good in value, in the first 2 nights we stayed in a small 2 single bed room on the ground floor which is fine, but it only had one small head light in the room that it was impossible to read and the grey colored wall made the room very dull.We have booked for 5 nights, but on the third day we went off for a 2 days trekking staying over night in a village and they didn't charge us for one night, and a free message was included,when we came back we move to a bigger room with a double bed which is very nice.Very good breakfast and free use of the internet. The owner and his staff are friendly, especially Dong very helpful and nice to talk to. It is a nice place to stay if not expecting too much.
