We are situated in the center of Chiang Khong village in Soi 2, one kilometer from the border and 900 meters from the bus station. In addition to our own pub, there are various bars and restaurants within 100 meters and the mekong river front, is just 100 meters away.
Local attractions, some unknown to travellers, include: Nam Chang dam(5km), a 10 km long dam surrounded by jungle, the view point(15 km) and authentic non-tourist hilltribe villages. All are reachable by bicycle or motorbike, available locally to hire.
The golden triangle, where Laos, Thailand and Myanmar meet in the mekong river is just 60 km away and the relatively unknown phu chi fa, is 70 km from the village.
