 This is the best hostel. The rooms are great, the location is great and the girl on reception is fantastic.

Very Clean, Quiet, spacious, comfortable room! After spending all day for shopping and walking around the town, I could sleep like a baby. The staff was very kind.

The hostel was lovely, the apartments were great and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, made it very easy to get around Bangkok. Wouldn't recommend it if you are wanting to meet people and party but if you are looking for somewhere nice and chilled to stay while exploring Bangkok it is just perfect

Everything looks very nice, the girls who work here are very nice and kind, the room was very clean and looked very nice, you have free Internet, anytime you want you can serve yourself with some frutes on the reception

Really nice suite/studio style rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to eat and sites to see. I'd stay here again.

The Location is very convenient with the Sky Train Connection not very far , Easy to go to anywhere as it is quite centre of the Bangkok actually the place is business area , we could find anything around , lots of shopping centre, food stall , foot massage. We did shopping until midnight!! , Urban house is very clean , Staff is very friendly and helpful. We d love to come back!!

Everything! I'd love to comeback to this hostel if I visit Bangkok again, definitely! Very good value to your money and the facilities are superb (they serve breakfast, too!).

Even though hostel is right off a busy road, it is on a side street so is quiet, and the building's atmosphere quiet and calm; fish pond outside, patio, lots of light. So welcoming and Kwand, the manager/owner is so accommodating and knowledgable. One of my favourite places, and I plan to stay there when in Bangkok again.

Excellent Staff who did everything possible to make our stay as good as possible. Also, one of the cleanest hostels I have stayed in, only a year old and rooms are better than most hotels I have stayed in.

The staff went out of their way to help us during our stay. They madephone calls for us, checked plane and bus schedules, and helped us to secure accomodations at our next stop. The hotel is also very conveniently located next to the metro and a very happening district. In spite of that, Urban house is quietly nestled away from all the action. I recommend Urban House very highly andlook forward to staying their again during my next stop in Bangkok.

Urban House is an amazing place. to stay. It is increbily clean, secure and has the best possible location. 5 minute walk from the BTS Sala Daeng station and a 7 minute walk from the Silom Subway stop. This centrally located Hostel is just minutes from Great shopping and a 10 minute BTS ride to the Chao Praya river. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better location and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. We didn't want to leave.

The lady owner of the hostel was wonderfully helpful and friendly. She even helped us look for another hostel to stay in when we wanted to extend our stay for another night in urban house but all rooms there were booked. The whole place was clean, cosy and family-like. Travelling around the area was made easy and pleasant with the help and directions given by the lady owner.

This hostel is briliant, great for couples or people wanting cheap yet great hotel style accommodation that is quieter than a regular hostel. The staff were so helpful and friendly and i was so impressed with the room. Definately a place to return to.

It's very new and very clean! The walk from main road was a little far but the soi is very quiet. You can stay in the room for a long time and the attendant won't bother you. Bed is really comfortable and the bathroom is very clean too. Deco is zen-minimalist and very soothing to the eye.

This beautiful accommodation is not really a hostel in the way most people imagine. We were travelling with teenagers and grand parents (July 06) so do not fit into the usual back packer stereotype. Urban house does not have a common room etc, but the rooms are fantastic, contemporary design, spotlessly clean, a kind of cross between Thai and Ikea- really nice. The suites have a small kitchen area and a beautiful cream leather corner sofa (worth paying the extra for). The location although initially hard to find is great – really close to Silom station and very central for visiting anything in Bangkok, best of all just a minute or two away from Pat Pong night market.
The owner was so exceptionally helpful, we actually bought her flowers as she went out of her way to assist us. Next day laundry service, help booking tours and free internet access made the stay more pleasant. The breakfast was nice- fruit, toast and juice with tea & coffee making facilities all day.
You would definitely not be slumming it at this beautiful boutique guest house. We would certainly go back.

Kwang , who is the owner is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, very helpful and very friendly, made our stay very enjoyable, the rooms are beautifully decorated and clean .I can not recommend this hotel enough and we will be staying there on every visit to Bangkok.
