The location is good, close to the central and sky train station. The staff are very friendly and dorms were very clean.

This hostel was not near the Koh San road but was close to the public transport to all the shopping centers. I think that if anybody was nervous about the Bangkok being a culture shock, Sukumvit is a good place to stay for a couple of nights to get your bearings and maybe visit the shopping centres. Then you can brave the Koh San road without all your bags and baggage. The staff were really friendly and the place was really clean. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm which made it a lot more affordable.

In such a hot country, it is great to have such an efficient laundry service.
It is also quieter than most hostels and very convenient for transport.

Further from the madness that is the Bangkok most people crave than I thought it would be, but then Bangkok is a massive city - much bigger than I expected having looked at various maps and guidebooks before my trip. Close to the skytrain, Eastern Bus Station, an easy bus ride from the airport and only a 75 Baht meter taxi ride to Khao San. I had two nights here and would not hesitate to book again - clean, comfortable and priced reasonably. What more do you need?

The Helpfulness of the staff. Easy to find but not in the centre of town! Good place to stay if it's just a stopover on your way to somewhere else!

Ideal for a night or two before leaving Bangkok, it's clean, ideal location to shopping, landmarks, bars, etc. Located beside an excellent italian place where you get breakfast and the nicest baguettes in Thailand, and the most comfortable and fast internet that we found to. An ideal place to do the final bits and pieces on your trip - but don't expect to meet too many people, as there is no bar and only a small common room, used as a smoking room.
