Very close to all the action which was great, very clean and good room facilities. Our only issue was that the staff weren't very helpful and didn't offer services like booking trains, planes and buses or even getting taxis for you except at about 3 times the rate of just outside the doors. Was good for us as a family but if you went there looking for a party atmosphere you'd be disappointed.

This was such a fantastic hotel, definitley value for money. With a fantastic buffett breakfast included in the price with all sorts of breakfast choices, i.e. Thai, Continental, American, etc. There is also a fantastic clean swimming pool on the 3rd floor. Security is fabulous, we checked out at 12:00 and were able to leave our bags there till 22:00 when we left for the airport. The staff are super friendly, even though their English isn't 100% but that just added to the Thailand experience. It was well worth the stay and highly recommended by all 7 of us girls staying there. As a bonus it's right by the main street where things are hip and happening!

Its actually a hotel but if you are looking for a few days by yourself right next, but not on, Khao San road then this is the place

Hotel was in great location (next road to Kao-San Road but no noise issues at all) and staff were really friendly and helpful. Stayed twice in the end as seemed so good and well located.
Also mention that the travel office were really helpful with advice and importantly did not try and sell you what you didnt want but listened to you.

Actually this "hostel" is a real hotel. It is huge (6 stories), a bit older-style but absolutely clean, with free bottles of water, new towels as well as room cleaning every day. Security box at the reception is perfect! The hotel also has a great & clean swimmingpool, which is great to relax after an exhausting day in Bangkok.
The location is superb, as it is the next street to Khao San, the main hostel and shopping as well as nightlife street, but far enough to have a quiet night, which does not always seem to be possible in Khao San road...
Fazit: If you do not necessarily need the hostel atmosphere and are prepared to pay three or four Euro extra, you get a great offer - inlcuding a superb breakfast (Continental, English as well as Thai).

the location is awesome. hotel is clean and a lot more up scale then a hostel. breakfast is great, if you can get up in time for it! the pool is amazing...

right in backpacker central though you can get cheaper rooms elsewhere this is still well cheap for bacpackers who don't like to slum it.

I wouldnt call it a Hostel. Its a hotel. It is nice, clean and has large rooms. It is value for money. The only bad thing is that the ceilings are to low in the bathroom. I am 6'3" and I couldnt stand up straight when having a shower.

very clean and tidy, nice rooms with air con, this is definately a nice change to the majority of others in the khao san road area. its more like a hotel.
