Liked: I had a great stay here. The hostel is definitely not a thing of beauty but the staff are absolutely fantastic, the beds are comfortable and the aircon works GREAT, the wireless is fast, there is a very good and very cheap restaurant downstairs as well as a 7/11, a bar with booze as cheap as you will find anywhere in the area and location location location. Whether you are looking to see the famous red light district "in the flesh" or whether you simply realised that getting anywhere from khosan road involves a tuk tuk or a taxi with the pre-requisite farang visit to a jewlerry shop/ tailor/ brothel and so wanted to be near other means of transport, this is a great place to be. Great value for money

Liked: The owner of the guesthouse is a super person always willing to help the budget travelers. the gueshouse is located very near the skytrain. besides, there are many inexpensive resturants nearby...

Liked: The location was great, right next to the sky train in one direction and the canal to the Golden Mount on the other. The Sukhumvit area of Bangkok the most fun, with Nana Plaza near by and Soi Cowboy, and many great venues in walking distance. Surounded by great local Thai eateries, the market at the end of the road does superb food at night from 40 baht.

Liked: The BEST option if travellling solo- GREAT comfortable dorm rooms, extremely helpful staff and good atmosphere. eg bar, tv, pool table etc. Very pleased with my stay and will return!

Liked: Good location, clean. Bar is expensive though and you can't bring in alcohol from outside, also have to pay for internet, breakfast, pool table etc. End up paying more than you would think.

Liked: Location is excellent - it is so close to the Skytrain and canal, and there are lots of places to eat nearby too. The staff are very friendly and on hand 24/7 to offer advice. Stayed here twice now and would go back :-)

Liked: This was the first hostel I've ever stayed at where someone was traveling with a baby. Threw me off a little. Also, the smoke from the lounge can be smelled in some of the other rooms. Other than that, this was a pretty good place.

Liked: Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. They will tell you all the best deals not only to see other parts of Bangkok but how to get around and see other parts of Thailand as well as Laos and Cambodia. Every new traveler should spend at least 1 night here, just to gain from all the information David has to share!

Liked: Awesome place to stay, Dave the owner and staff are really helpful. Would recommend it to anyone, this is my second stay there!Great location for transport, and also a great spot to meet people!

Liked: It was very good for meeting people. Several people met up in the evenings and went out together. It was smoky in the common room, but other than that it was good. The paper work says you get 20 minutes of free internet at night, but that is an old policy and not honored.

Liked: the australian guy who works at the counter is a sarcastic dude who doesn't take crap from people. but he's got it all together, and the place is run quite well. pretty clean, average rooms (but with ac AND a shower!). thumbs up.
