Liked: Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Ask Dave anything, he'll know the answer :) Food is delicious, but some good cheap places just round the corner. New guy Pete will do a great job taking care of things! He's awesome. Great fun, would go back if i ever go through bkk again :)

Liked: Dave and the very friendly fellow travelers who stayed there. And the coffee down the street was splendid. Even though Bangkok was not the best of cities, Soi 1 was a good hostel to stay at.

Liked: The best thing about Soi 1 Guesthouse is probably price. Very good value for money. Also David (works nights) really knows whats good to do and was very helpful.

Liked: Duvets on the beds and air con in the dorm room made Soi 1 a very comfortable place to sleep. The bathrooms, although not very new, are kept clean and I didn't have to queue at any stage. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

Liked: i liked everything about this hostel ! it was the first hostel i have ever stayed in, and unfortunately for the rest, it will be the one that others have to compare to ! David, the owner, could not have been more friendly, chilled and informative. He runs a tight ship that everybody knows, but in a way that promotes civility. I would certainly reccomend this place to anyone !
