Disliked: room book onl line says aircon room while when checked in does not have aircon says i book fan room MUST CLEARLY ILLUSTRATE IN PRICE OF ROOM TOTAL CLARITY WEATHER ROOOM ARICON OR NOT AS BOOKING ON LINE THOUSANDS OF MILES IF NO CLARIFICATIONS THAN END UP LIKE THIS NON AIRCON FAN ROOM SO EVERY PRICE CATAGORY MUST HAVE CLEAR SPECIFICATIONS OF ROOM NOT BIG DEAL TO DO ON WEB THNKS

Disliked: The location is awful, for the money you will spend on a taxi into town and back you could have stayed somewhere nicer and closer to the city...

Liked: its clean and the internet is good and free terminals and wireless the cafe does good coffee they offer breakfast but i didnt have it , dorms are clean with maybe 1 bunkbed too many

Disliked: it was a little bit off the beateb trak and the khao san road is other side of the city however is easily accesable by tuk tuk or taxi but id recommend the later on the meter as the tuk tuk wanted 500 bhat and the meterd taxi was 110 bhat

Liked: you could watch any films for free but the room had no aircon so was extremely hot. they did have a good counter where they offered travel advise. the laundry service was also good my clothes came bk well.

Disliked: the doorm room has no aircon and one 1 fan between 10 people. they do not provide sheets to sleep under so u have to use your sleeping bag. they construction wakes u up very early and it is hard to get through the work when u wish to leave. Taxi drives also have no idea how to get to the address.

Liked: Helpful and friendly staff, not located near the main tourist areas (ie the temples and high streets) but is nonetheless only a cheap, short boat- or train-ride away. Wireless is free, but only seems to work in the main reception. Avoid the food/drink provided in the minibar in your room, because the hostel charges a lot for for them, and only tells you the prices upon checking-out. Room was comfy and quiet.

Liked: One of the cheapest place to stay in Bangkok. It is clean and good atmosphere. I reached Bangkok at 2 am and this place is great because it has 24 hrs reception. The only minus point is that it is quite far from train station. It is quite near to boat station though.

Liked: Located away from the party scene of Khao San. It's about 5min walk to Saphan Taksin BTS station and Express boat pier. This is not a touristy area. There is a small shopping centre with a KFC, McDonald's and Robinson's department store between the guesthouse and the BTS station . Also a 7/11 near there. Otherwise, you have to take a tuk-tuk for any restaurants or shopping. Charoen Krung is a major road, so it's extremely easy to get a tuk-tuk/taxi any time at all.The staff was very helpful, will answer any questions you have.The room was clean, except it seems they didn't change the linen once.It's a quiet, family-friendly guesthouse. Would stay there again.

Liked: Dirty rooms, both dorms and private rooms, full of bedbugs! Staff blame customers for bringin the bedbugs to the hotel, not the fact that dorms are only cleaned once a week! Good location though! But cant reccomend it!

Liked: Very clean double room for 500 baht but quite small so not good for a long stay. Location was good - very close to china town, patpong and the river however they advertise that they are within walking distance to the train station when it would in fact be an uncomfortable walk for someone with a lot of baggage (the person at the desk recommended we get a cab). The Wifi was very slow during our two day stay and this was quite annoying as it was one of the reasons we booked here. The food in the restaurant was beautiful (especially the massaman curry). The baggage storage area wasnt as secure as it should be - though no-one not staying there could gain access, anyone who was given the key could rummage around as much as they wanted in anyone elses bag because there was no supervision. Please note also that if you ask them to book a cab for you they will charge a surcharge of 150 baht which seems outrageous. We didnt book any tours from them but it looked as though the place was well set up for this. Overall a very nice place to stay but they could improve in a few ways.
