Liked: Definitely value for money!! It was about 5 or so mins walk from Khao San Road. Basic room, but that's all you need when you're out all day....just a bed to sleep in. We liked it so much and the price was good, we decided to stay for a week after that! The owner was great, very helpful with pointing things out and can sort out excursions for you....plus she is also a chef! Good food :)

Liked: Great location - 5 min walk to the bustling area around khaosan road and close to other sights, but still in a quiet neighbourhood away from the mass of tourists.

Disliked: The lady in charge of the hostel was really friendly and helpful, she gave us lots of great advice on where to go. However she is the only one out of the staff who speaks English. The other people who work there are nice but as their English is considerably worse it's hard to make yourself understood.

Liked: It is within easy walking distance of Khaosan Road. The facilities are basic but comfortable and it has an open front seating area onto a small side street where you can enjoy breakfast and an internet cafe. Definitely recommend.

Liked: The location was really excellent for shopping on Khosan Road.

Disliked: None of the taxi drivers were completely familiar with finding Samsen Road.

Liked: Really good price, they serve food at the hostel as well, not super low price but good anyway. You get towel and sheets for your stay. The hostel closed at 00:00 but you could just ring the bell and they would come down to open.

Disliked: I stayed at a double room att level 3, lots of small ants in the room and in other parts of the house as well. The internet was sometimes extremely slow.

Liked: The lady at the front was very helpful in kettingus know how to get around for the cheapest option. Also, whe we had troubles booking a bus and were forced to stay another night, she did everything possible in booking us into a full room to help us from having to switch hostels. Very close to Kho sahn road also, about 10 mins waking distance.

Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: just be warned if you arrive from night bus at 5am cant get into room till 11. But they gave us tea and the tv remote

Liked: Friendly staff. Close by walking you can find an information office where you can get a map and they will explain you how to get to the Grand Palace, it will tell you around 25 mins. walking from the hotel. Also you can do shopping at Khao San Road.

Disliked: My room didn´t have window so I felt like in a prison but it was still ok and clean just to sleep. I got my room in the 5th floor and it was a bit hard to take my suitcase upstairs. However one of their stuff tried to help me.

Liked: Good location, I booked a single room but they didn't have any when I arrived so was upgraded to a double at no extra charge

Disliked: Took me a while to realise there was an electric hot shower on the 2nd floor when I had been using the cold shower in the bathroom on the 3rd floor!

Liked: Cheap place with basic room and facilites, worth the price. The location is good too.

Disliked: The bed is quite hard and found many ants on it. The wall is quite thin so you could hear the TV's playing on next door.

Liked: Spacious rooms, feel secure, very clean, free internet, laundry service available and the staff seem very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The lack of any proper communal area for people staying there. There is a table that is sometimes free to sit on at the entrance of the building but it is in the same little area as where the owners/staff hang out too, feels a bit like you're intruding into their living room perhaps?

Liked: Free wifi was great. Everything was extremely clean, they must clean the toilets and shower a couple of times each day! Good value for money.

Disliked: it's a bit of a walk to Kao san rd but it is also nice to be away from all the noise and tacky tourists.
