Liked: The beds were comfortable, they had many excursion options, and staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was cheap and tasty too.

Disliked: The pool should be open later. The taxi's and shuttles are expensive. The location made it difficult to reach other places.

Liked: Location five minute walk, from street life really nice walk. The rooms are cozy with hot showers! Get what you pay for.

Disliked: From the main road you have to walk through an ally wAy to get to the hostel.

Liked: A good place to stay in Bangkok as it is just far enough from the bustling streets and nightlife of Khosan road and other places like that, very nice spacious and clean rooms with AC for a budget price :)

Disliked: Kinda hard to find unless you spot the A4 piece of paper on the street wall directing you down the alley :/

Liked: Very good location, very nice people, very clean, good facilities (TV, wi-fi, aircon) definitely very reasonable price! We were in Thailand for quite long time and stayed in many hostels, this one was definitely very good value for the money. I saw some bad reviews before however after I stayed there, i couldnt quite understand those reviews. It is kinda difficult to find but on Chakrapong Road just follow Masjid Chakrabongse sign, right across 7/11 or basicly enter through Phra Sumen Road, much easier.

Disliked: Basicly we liked everything.

Liked: Stuff was ok, some were friendly, some not.

Disliked: I am used to basic rooms, but... 1) had a single room direct to the reception (1m). So it has been loud day and night. Stuff watching TV all night so I had bad sleep 2) the nearby mosque woke me up every morning around 5 am or earlier, I don't know 3) room was smelling like it was moldy 4) guesthouse isn't easy to find. Only a small sign shows the way in a very small "street" about 1,5 m wide 5) nightwatch had mobile phone on and I woke up with every ring ring ring

Liked: - fantastic location (500m walk from the lomprayah bus drop off near khao san/rambuttri road) - nice and quiet (down a little alley you wouldn't believe could host such a property) - really nice, clean ac room (private single - just a tad tiny, but not really an issue for 1 person) and bathroom (hot water, flush et al) - very friendly, helpful staff (had a conversation about bollywood, helped me get a printout of my flight ticket, for free) - value for money (500 baht a night is pretty good, given the location and quality of accommodation)

Liked: Very nice and quiet. In a backstreet, so no noice from nearby roads, bars and whatever else. I woke up in the morning to birds tweeting, and it sounded like the place was surrounded by a garden, not tall houses and a big city. It's very close to Khao San Road and the river (boat stop right nearby).

Disliked: The shower was very basic, and water pressure was not very good. But hey, I got clean.

Liked: Our room had A/C, it was quiet, and within walking distance of Khao San Rd & other popular tourist sites in the Old City.

Disliked: It was literally impossible to find. It definitely needs a larger sign on the main road.

Liked: The location is good and the staff friendly and heldpfull, all though they don´t have a lot of concrete advice to give about tours.

Disliked: Rooms are not cleaned every day unless you ask for it.

Disliked: There was a Islamic Church next door that had a LOUD speaker blaring out loud prayers at all hours including 5am in the morning. Never got a decent nights' sleep.

Liked: The staff was SO helpful. They let us use their phone when we had a huge mixup with our credit cards, even offered to take us to the police station! They arranged our trains for us, and when we had to stay one more night than we had planned, they gave us a discount on our room for the extra night. The air conditioner works extremely well and the room was very clean. It's only about a 5 minute walk to Khaosan Road! I really really enjoyed my stay here!

Disliked: The internet is dodgy on the third floor.

Liked: I thought the property was very well located, a few streets away from Khao sen road (the busy street with lots of bars). The room was clean and with a good AC and hot shower.

Disliked: The staff was not super helpful especially the owner. What I did not like about her is that she kept giving us bad advices and wrong price for things. So she was one of this money hungry people who just want to take advantage of tourists. I actually tested her asking her how much some journeys on a tuk tuk would cost; For a 10 baht journey she replied to me 80 baht! And about the taxi she told me it would cost me more than 500 baht to go back to the airport when it costed me only 350 to come to her hotel. And when I confronted her she said I had been 'lucky". She also tried to discourage us on everything. Like that we would not get a flight because we had not booked in advance and that we would find no accomodation in phuket and that we better go to a travel agency to sort it out. It is a lie! You always find a place wherever you go so dont let yourself get scared by this kind of people! I also think that the hotel is too expensive.for sure you can find a hotel with the same facilities for less money. But not possible to book them on the internet most of the time.

Liked: Don't be fooled by the dodgy alleyway you have to walk to get down. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Locationis perfect. Great restaruant next to the 7/11 on the main street outside. FOr a place to crash while travelling it's perfect.

Disliked: It providesthe bare minimumin terms of facilities.

Liked: The hotel was really clean and in a great location. Only downside was that on the night before we left $50 travelers cheques were taken from my room. The room wasn't physically broken into which makes me think either I was stupid and left it unlocked (unlikely) or the staff let themselves in and had a look around. However the staff were then very apologetic and helpful when I needed to call up American Express. Moral of the story - use the lockers they provide and take money/valuable documents with you!

Liked: Tucked away in a labyrinth of winding alleys this hotel with its unfriendly and uninterested staff this hotel has been quite possibly the worst hotel we have stayed in Asia. The room was not cleaned once in 4 days despite repeat requests and the hotel staff appeared annoyed when we interrupted their internet dating / gambling to use the ‘free’ internet they provided.The room was expensive for what it was worth with much cheaper accommodation available on or around the Ko San road.Avoid like the plague

Liked: It was good value for money while offering good facilities including air con, hot water shower and tv. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again, its great if you're on a budget but want a clean, private room with good facilities. The showers aren't great but they are hot and the bathrooms are small but that didn't really bother me. Its really close to Khao San Road but quite difficult to find the first time as it's located down an alley. Don't think I would have been keen to stay there if I'd been travelling on my own but as it was it was ideal for us. No complaints.

Liked: The staff were incredibly helpful and the vibe of the hostel was very laidback and comfortable. I will definately stay there again. It was close to everything I wanted to see, the palaces, temples, and Khao San Road.
