Lauri TammiQuite okay place. In a nice location very close to Khaosan Road, but not on it. So quite perfect location in many ways. Staff is very friendly, almost too much, as they hang around with you like your friends. It's still a bit more luxury than Backbacker guesthouses, it's anyway a HOTEL. The view is not the best one, but in Bangkok it's hard to find a very good view. Good thing was nice really professional "non-ping-pong" thai massage and a very good travel service that helps you to build quite good budget trips everywhere in Thailand (or even outside...). I took a combined Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Phuket-Phi Phi-Bangkok travel for six days with three excursions, five hotel nights and three flights with 16000 baht (= 285 pounds). The rooms are a bit more expensive than in guesthouses, but they're maybe a bit nicer and larger too, with also nicer service. |

Catharina de Boer- space: grand rooms with a good sized bathroom This is the main reason why I would recommend this hotel. There are better options closer to Khao San Road. But if you like to stay at a spacious hotel in a more quieter neighbourhood, the NWCH is a good alternative. However, construction near the hotel could cause some nuisance. |

Customer reviewBig rooms, and good breakfast - not included in the price tho, but worth the 4Euro cause it can potentially fill you until dinner! Only downside is that at the rear of the hotel there are huge constuction works being completed, or only started - they got a delivery of steel at 1.20am, started work about 6.00am - but when we complained the next day we were immediately moved to a room on the river side (no questions asked) and you couldn't hear a thing from there. |
