Liked: The decor is very atmospheric. They had plenty of clean toilets and showers. They had a collection of books you could sit and read after a long day of sightseeing. Free lockers for each person (you pay a key deposit and get it back upon checking-out). Very close to the train station and MRT, so it's easy to get around to other places in Bangkok or Thailand. There was no air-con in my room, but I personally like that. There were several fans, though, two windows and a balcony, all of which opened. so we just had the air circulating. I definitely liked this hostel and I would totally recommend it. :)

Disliked: There was a lot of noise at night, I'm not sure if it was from the hostel guests or from people nearby as our windows were left open to keep it cooler. Also, there didn't seem to be a whole lot in the way of restaurants nearby, though we did find this one place that served everything from sea cucumber to pasta...

Liked: The atmosphere in the lounge and the fact that you have access to kitchen and fridge is really nice.. Staff was so helpful and friendly at arrival.

Disliked: A little hard to find, but once you have been there, you will never get lost. Also maybe a bit too quiet in the evening because of no alcohol og cigarettes allowed. That makes people go out for them selves instead of hanging out at the place..

Liked: The staff was very helpful. The location was good because I wanted something near the train station. The main attractions are maybe 30-45 minutes away by bus.

Disliked: Even though the location was good for me because I wanted to be near the main train station, there wasn't really anything to do in the neighborhood.

Liked: close to hualomphong stn but a bit difficult to find when you first arrive. there are no ensuites but showers are beside with free soap and shampoo dispensers. keep a bottle for free water refills. room was nice with a ceiling fan. friendly staff, good english.

Disliked: this is like a hostel in spain where all the rooms open to a central courtyard and windows are just bars and a curtain. but people were respectful and not too noisy. its a quiet neighbourhood

Liked: Super clean and nice, very calm. Staff is really helpfull and friendly.

Disliked: A bit too calm at times. Its not the place to party, that's for sure. So if you're looking for peaceful Bangkok, this is IT!

Liked: Very clean and has so much character. The staff are very helpful and the common areas provide a great place to catch up friends or make new ones. This place is an oasis in the city.

Disliked: The 8am check out is a bit hard if you have a night flight out of bangkok (like I do) and want to sleep in. You can pay half day for late checkout (before 4pm) which would be ideal, but book when you arrive as it gets busy!

Liked: Really good atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and your money is definitely worth it. Although this hostel is not in the 'backpackers centre' (like Ko San Road), you meet a lot of other travellers. It's easygoing and the neighboorhood is really nice. It takes like 15 minutes by tuktuk, or 20/25 minutes by bus to get to the tourist/backpackers areas. So, save some money, and relax at this really cozy en cute hostel in Bangkok.

Liked: Everything! So clean, so much space! The best hostel that Ive stayed in so far.Freindly staff, kitchen,big lockers, laundry, common area,dorms are big, with great beads.

Liked: Immaculate, quiet, and spacious with very helpful and friendly staff. On a quiet street tucked away in local area and away from main street. Attractively painted and well-maintained. It is among the best of the hostels we've stayed in during our extended travels in Asia.

Disliked: It seems a shame to provide a dryer when there is so much space and sunlight to dry clothes naturally. The public areas would benefit from lamps and ceiling fans to make them more comfortable.

Liked: The design was very nice, as was the cleanliness. My room was small, but fine. There was free instant coffee and water which was nice, as well as a full kitchen if one wanted to prepare their own food. There were plenty of clean bathrooms and showers for everyone. Also, the location was perhaps ten minutes from the main train station which was very nice given that I was traveling by train. However, if one is traveling to Bangkok for debauchery, than the location would not be the best.

Disliked: The price was perhaps a bit high for the single room, one had to pay to use the internet, the laundry was also not free nor convenient as one would have to buy their own detergent, and there are not a ton of places to eat without walking 15 minutes or so.

Liked: Wonderful place, right mixture of privacy and getting in touch with people, quiet but social atmosphere, clean, great decoration, all the amenities you could wish for, nice staff - helpful but not pushy - I can't think of anything bad! Gives you so much more than you pay for. The best place I stayed in a month I spent in Thailand.

Liked: Extremely clean. Great athmosphere. Beautiful decoration. Free wifi. Showers with shampoo and shower gel. Well equiped kitchen. A/c in bedroom. Simply great an extra cheap.

Disliked: Some bad bugs at night. Bring your repelent. You're in Thailand.

Liked: Was easy to find, great price for a private fan room (enough to keep me cool), VERY clean and quiet (but it was not full perhaps due to the floods). Location is ok if you don't need to be in the middle of all the entertaiment/nightlife/food and its a short walk to the BTS and the main train station (cheap food there). If you stay in Bangkok, you really need to be by a BTS/Skytrain as the taxi cab/Tut Tut drivers + everyone you meet (local and farang alike) tend to be pretty clueless or just trying to rip you off or annoy you. The lady at the front desk was very helpful though.

Disliked: Rather limited eating choices in the area but Silom is 2 BTS stops away + a big supermarket/food court is 1 stop away. No breakfast served (coffee and tea is always available) so plan on making your own or getting one when you go out. Also, the fountain downstairs seems to attract its share of mosquitos in the evening...
