Even though we are just 100 meters from the excitement of Sukhumvit Rd., HI-Sukhumvit is situated on a quiet and safe street, lying in a peaceful area and surrounded by a tranquil wealthy residential area.

The location itself is an ideal starting point to explore Bangkok’s attractions being well connected to the user-friendly public transport system and providing easy access to the airport, bus terminals, train stations and pier.

After an exhausting day exploring Bangkok, you can chill out in our spacious communal area with a book exchange with hundreds of books and magazines, cable TV and refreshments, as well as complimentary guest kitchen.

Our outdoor rooftop garden and little ground floor front yard invite you to sit back, rejuvenate and contemplate your travel plans and your next itinerary. It is a wonderful place to relax and meet other travelers from around the world, making new friends and exchanging travel tips.

We are a backpacker's and flashpacker's hostel. As a youth hostel (YHA/ HI), we may not be able to offer you the experience of a luxury hotel but if you want a true hostel experience and if you are a true hosteller then come to HI-Sukhumvit. We will make sure you have the best experience possible.

The reception is open from 7:00-24:00.

If you plan to check in after 24:00 you need to contact us at least the day before to get the front door code.

We accept cash only. Full payment / Balance Due is collected upon check-in.

Hostel opened 7:00-24:00. Security code for the rest of the night.

Location Information

We are not close to Khaosan Rd but are located in Old Town and are 15 mins by BTS to the Bangkok permier Center and have the best location in terms of arrivals and departures by northern bus, eastern bus, train and air-plane.
