Liked: The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. When my fiancé got sick, they brought us to a clinic to see a doctor. This hostel is family run, and we were able to really get to know the family which made our stay that much better. The hostel is right on the river which is beautiful, and across the street from a park with many historical ruins. A short bike ride away from the elephants and other popular attractions. Bikes can be rented for 30 baht a day as well. Free Internet and bottled water, walking distance from many restaurants, clean rooms, and great atmosphere!

Liked: Very friendly staff. Location near the river. Bikes for rent (30 baht per day). Free drinking water included.

Disliked: Bathroom not really clean, but okay for a few days.

Liked: The staff is very friendly and helpful. I came late and was allowed to take a bike for free for short ride to see the sunset. They called for me for some food and tuk-tuk to train station. I even could check-out 3 hours later then I should without additional charge.

Disliked: Only the location is not so good. It's 2-4 km from main temples and bus or train station, so you need transportation.

Liked: It was very charming and close to many of the popular tourist destinations.

Disliked: I wish I had a second lock on my door, but then again Im just overly paranoid while traveling!

Liked: Good price, free milo.

Disliked: Do not stay here in the rainy season, it was flooded. The only way to get to the room was either wading through knee deep water or having the land lady tip us (and our belongings) out of her plastic boat.

Liked: The family who own this hostel are extremely friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed the two nights we stayed there. There are bikes you can rent for 30B per day, or they can help you arrange a tuk tuk to see the temples (the ones outside the city would be quite far on a bike). We arrived late in the evening and could take the bikes out for no charge so we had access to lots of nice places to eat. The location is great for going to see the temples inside the city, they are all close to the hostel and also one just across the river. Our room was very nice, big and clean with air-con and the room rate was very reasonable, there is also wifi but the reception is best outside the room. On our last day we needed to book a train ticket for Chiang Mai and the family were extremely helpful, they called the train station to check for seats and then they gave us a lift there to buy our tickets, and also dropped us to the station later that evening. They also let us check out late as we had a late train which was really nice. In 7 months of travelling this has been the most welcoming, hospitable and friendly place we have stayed and i would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Ayutthaya.

Liked: Very nice room, clean bathroom ,friendly staff and good facilities e.g. bike hire, free Internet, view over the river where you can drink at night

Disliked: A bit far out of town and there didn't seem to be any other travellers staying - so not the best place for meeting people...

Liked: The bed was very good. The aircon works good. You can rent bicylcles for 30 THB. The first day we got them for free, because we arrived late in the midday.

Disliked: Alltough there are ants, they have a spray that kill them. The hostel was far away from the centre, but you have a 7 eleven nearby and some great restaurants.

Disliked: too many insects by the river, not easy to get a tutu taxi, have to walk 10 mins to get to a convenient store where tutu awaits.

Liked: The location right on the river, over looking one of the temples we were later to visit. Food was good. Staff very helpful, took us for a trip on the river but the engine had a few problems, but still turned out ok (Safety vests provided) We extended our stay by one day to allow us to see more of Ayutthaya.

Disliked: WIFI would have been nice.

Liked: Staff were really friendly, helped out with anything you needed, from laundry, lending bikes to writing things in Thai for you. It's a family run home/hostel kind of place and its therefore charming. Right by the river with an area to sit and chill after a day on the bikes. Out of the main area but I think it's a much nicer area to stay in. Bike ten mins to get into centre or tuktuk for a quid. Tuktuk drivers aren't sure where it is so pointing on a map best way to explain.

Disliked: Food overpriced and not the greatest selection but there is a lovely restaurant just two doors down main road.

Liked: It was small and quiet, located just off the main road that encircles the city. It is away from the main shopping area, but as that area isn't anything special it's well located for exploring. It was within walking distance to a lot of the ruined Wats and a few doors away from a friendly restaurant. A/C was excellent & wifi signal was ok.

Disliked: The ramshackled wooden planks on the wall of our room!

Disliked: TV had no English channels. Out of tourist & food areas so had to take tuk tuks everywhere

Liked: It is in a nice quiet part of Ayutthaya. They are very friendly and game me a lift back to the train station

Liked: Right on the river, clean rooms, beautiful outdoor terrace/patio, friendly/ helpful hosts, right next to some of the Ayutthaya ruins, nice restaurant (open for dinner) just down the street

Disliked: a little off the backpacker track if that's what you're into, but that may just be because people don't know that the floods of the past month have long since abated ... this place is open for business, and in awesome shape!

Liked: During our stay the river was floody. The guesthouse helped us very well, they were very kind and helpful! It was a nice room, clean, large and we could use the bicycle for exploring Ayutthaya. Great!

Disliked: The flood gave a bit of water. But because of the hand made wall we only had water to our feet.

Liked: The satff was very friendly and even took some time to show me the city, altough they had sever flooding at that time and that also kept them busy a lothe. it might be not in the center but its close the everything interesting in a couple of minutes by bike.

Liked: The staff were friendly and the rooms were great. Comfortable and very clean. Location was good and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Ayutthaya. The air con was a god send. The price was very resonable.

Liked: This is a great guesthouse with friendly staff. It is quite far from some of the restaurants and bars however you can hire a bicycle for 30 baht per day which makes the whole island and mainland very accessible.
