Liked: The staff were friendly and the rooms were great. Comfortable and very clean. Location was good and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Ayutthaya. The air con was a god send. The price was very resonable.

Liked: This is a great guesthouse with friendly staff. It is quite far from some of the restaurants and bars however you can hire a bicycle for 30 baht per day which makes the whole island and mainland very accessible.

Liked: The staff are amazing! The wifi is a bit unreliable and I had to sit on the floor by the bench to get proper connectivity. The view of the river is great! You see ruins right outside of the driveway and it's close to a lot of the major ruins. That said, you have to take a tuk tuk to get here. Don't try to walk, like they say on the website, as it is way too far away from the bus stop or the market place. The room is very clean and the air conditioning was a blessing! I would definitely recommend this place.

Liked: Due to unreliable transportation, we got into this hostel around 1am when we'd told the owner we would be there at 8pm. She is a very cute, Thai women who got up when she finally heard us rummaging around the entrance and gave us our room without qualms.We were able to rent bikes the next day for 30 baht each/day.The only bad thing was that we had a really hard time finding a tuk-tuk driver who had actually heard of this place.

Liked: I can't recommend BanBua any more! The staff are amazing, so lovely and willing to help. A beautiful spot by the river - a little bit out of the main town, but a quick tuktuk/bicycle ride away from all the business.Free internet, refreshments and you can hire bicycles/motorbikes straight from the owners.Would definately stay again!

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay here. The people were so friendly, we hired bikes and granted it's not city center it was not difficult to bike around and check it all out. would without a doubt stay here again! Good times :)

Liked: A nice and quiet guesthouse. Riverview and free wireless internet. Bikes are for rent so you can bike into town. Downtown is about 10 minutes by bike. Staff is very friendly. If you want to have a guesthouse away from all the hassle, this is the place.Location is beautiful but not near the city centre

Liked: The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We hired bikes for the day from the hostel owners to tour the city which I would really recommend.

Liked: A small, friendly, family-run place. The family really welcomed me and looked after me. Great location, in the old city, on the riverbank with a lovely patio for sitting out on, watching the boats and the activity at the temple on the opposite bank. Most of the other guests were Thais - a great opportunity to meet them & find out about the country. I felt that my room was secure but I advised the family that some people might want to be able to leave passports and tickets in a safe.
