Liked: At first I felt that maybe we were staying a bit too far away from the centre of Ao Nang, but in the evenings I came to realise how peaceful it was in the small valley. It was only a 20 min walk to the beach front too (we didn't need to get a tuk tuk or taxi). The room was large and cleaned every day and there was a big selection of DVDs to borrow if you wanted an evening in. I'd also recommend the little family run Thai restaurant a couple of doors down.

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided suggestions for places to eat and visit. They were also efficient in arranging trips and transport. It was clean and safe too!

Disliked: The location was a little faraway from the beach (2-3km)? It can be tiring.

Liked: Simple everything. 4 star hotelroom (really): so spacious, good airco, terrace with chairs & table, sparkling clean, tiles on the floor so no dirty carpet, 2 sofas in a tv corner with tv, dvd player (loads of dvd's for free), large & clean bathroom, safe, big mirror, fan,... Staff is the best, friendly, helps with everything giving loads of tips & advice... Best hostel we stayed in during our 6 months worldtrip and only €22 per night for the 'suite' we stayed in, crazy. Two doors down really good Thai restaurant (cheap, good & famous in Ao Nang).

Disliked: Anyone who dislikes something here should have stayed at home.

Liked: Homey atmosphere. We didn't mind walking all the way down to the beach front, we had a chance to explore the Ao Nang strip leisurely. The place is completely serene.

Liked: The owners were VERY nice, so friendly and were more than willing to help out or answer questions. The room was absolutely spotless, the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was as clean as you can get. It was very safe as well. Also, I really liked the DVD collection as I just wanted to relax at night, and it was nice to watch some movies for a change. The Thai restaurant next door was delicious and very cheap!!

Disliked: It was far from the beach and shops - a good 15 minute walk - and the hostel didn't offer pick up or drop-off service to the pier. However, it was really safe and quiet at night which ensured a good night sleep!

Liked: the keeper is very friendly.i feel free here.the palce is very quiet and clean. you can watch dvd at night for entertainment. the hotel is the most comfortable palce i stay during my holiday.

Disliked: a little far from the aonang beach, it's about 15 mintus walking from here to the beach.

Liked: The hotel was really nice and quiet, room big and clean, very friendly and helpful staff. We would have liked to stay longer and definitely recommend it to everyone else who is going to stay in Ao Nang beach.

Liked: It was very calm and peaceful. Good location. The room was spotless and a good size. Hot shower etc. The owners were so helpful and made it an easy going place to stay. The breakfast was yummy also. I would definately return one day.

Liked: The couple who run Baan Taveesri are lovely and incredibly helpful, they even gave me some flowers for my birthday whilst we were there! There is an excellent (and very cheap) restaurant next door and the hotel is away from all the noise of Ao Nang so it is very relaxing. There is also a great selection of DVDs to borrow when the weather is not so good and the rooms have DVD players in them. We definately recommend staying at Baan Taveesri and wish we were back there now!

Liked: v.friendly staff, and next to the best value and quality thai food family run restaurant i came accross in my whole trip. 15 min walk from beach, but plenty tuk tuks around if you can't hack it

Liked: About 20 minutes by walk from the beach. But a very clean place to stay. The restaurant next door is cheap and offers very good food. I would recommend it if you do not mind walking 20 minutes to the beach or to take a tuktuk for 20 Baht per person.

Liked: Nice place away from the crowd and busy road. A little far from the beach - 20-25 min walk (we never made it for 15 min), but lazy ones can use tuk-tuk (20b/person). Room is average but comfortable.

Liked: EXTREMELY clean without any spots. Brand new room curtain and mattress. Very helpful owner and upgrade us to aircon room with the same price. Very good place to stay in Ao Nang.

Liked: The staff was great. There is a small place to eat next door which served good food at reasonable prices. The property is a bit of a walk to the beach but quiet compared to the beach front places. The facilities were very good and there is a DVD player and movies to watch. The TV and other things worked well. I was very impressed with this property and staff. It was the nicest place I have stayed in the last 7 months of travel all over the world.

Liked: Baan Taveesri is run by a danish guy and his girlfriend. Me and my friend stayed there for 5 dayes and enjoyed it alot. the rooms are big and very nice with tv, fridge, ac and bathroom, clean. A plus is that every room has its own dvd player and you can use the hostels dvd collection for free. ten-fifteen minutes walk down to the city centre and the beach, but we didn't mind walking. and it is also possible to get a moped taxi for 20thb per person.

Liked: This property was one of the best places i stayed in from my two months travel through Thailand and Malaysia.Very clean,quiet,very nice owners/staff who give you all the information you need. Great location near the mainroad but far enough to have a good quiet night sleep,nice breakfast.Dvd player in the room and dvd s available at the reception.There is a great restaurant just two houses further down. Dont think twice just go here!!!!
