Overview

Twiga Home Moshi offers best value of any budget accommodation in Moshi/Kilimanjaro. We have 14 clean and modern rooms for single or double occupancy, all with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers and ceiling fans. There are AC and non-AC rooms.

Our guests are from all over the world and they come to Moshi to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, to do a safari in Tanzania's National Parks including the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, to volunteer, or to do backpacking travel through East Africa.

We are located in a quiet residential area with an attractive garden and 24 h security service.

We offer free Wi-Fi wireless internet and free town shuttle transfers.

Our restaurant and bar serve African and international breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks and refreshments at very competitive prices on a large outdoor terrace.

We have a television room with DVD player for your use at no extra cost.

Further services (at extra cost) include massages at our garden wellness corner (not only for exhausted Kilimanjaro climbers), airport transfers, bookings for Kili climbing and safaris, internet café, bicycle rental, laundry service, and a small shop.

Accommodation Information

Our rooms are located in two buildings. In the booking, the rooms labelled "Private Double Ensuite" and "Private Twin Ensuite" are without AC, the rooms labelled "Superior Private Double Ensuite" and "Superior Private Twin Ensuite" are with AC.

All beds have box-shaped mosquito nets. All rooms have ceiling fans. Further, you'll find a wardrobe, bedside locker and hangers.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with western water toilet, hot shower and a wash-basin with mirror. Hotel soap, towel and bed sheets are provided.

Twiga Home opened in 2010, so everything is brand-new and in perfect shape. You cannot find any other accommodation of comparable price and standard in Moshi.

Location Information

Twiga Home is located in the Soweto Area of Moshi, a quiet residential area, neighbouring the city centre.

To our guests, we offer a free shuttle service connecting Twiga Home and Moshi town centre. The trip takes 10 minutes. By bicycle it also takes 10 minutes and to walk around 30-40 minutes. A taxi from town centre to Twiga costs 3000-4000 Shilling (2 to 2.75 USD).
