Liked: Pretty much nothing.

Disliked: This is indeed the worst hostel I've ever been ny entire life. Not clean at all, moskitos all over the place and loud as hell. Walls are very thin, which is often the case in many hostels. But particularly here you'll not be able to sleep. I wouldn't call it a hostel, rather an emergency shelter.

The property's response is

Long walk to subway, no linen provided even upon request.

Liked: Very easy to get to from airport, easy to find, easy access to convenient subway stations. Good wifi, nice people, casual comfy common room where it's easy to socialize + easy to do personal laptop work.Good for long-term stays also, since there's a big fridge, and coin operated washer/dryer.Pretty clean, the bathroom gets all wet from shower, but it's fine just bring flip flops. Maybe bring a sheet since the blankets seem old.

Disliked: Upon arrival, it was easy enough for me to leave my luggage and write a note that i'd come back in the evening, but there should be clearer instructions at the hostel on what to do, since the manager is often not around during the day.

Liked: DIANNE is the biggest plus factor for World Scholar House. She is very accommodating, approachable, warm and friendly. Toiletries are provided free, so as hot and cold water. The location is three blocks aways from the MRT station, and finding places to eat in the mornings can be a concern. Good things there's a Family Mart near the place, where one can find practically everything she needs, including microwavable meals.
