One must see site in Taipei is Longshan Temple which was built in 1783 and is one of the oldest and largest temples in Taiwan. The temple features the best traditional Chinese temple architecture and is acknowledged as one of Taiwan's most resplendent temples. It has unique bronze dragon pillars, skillful wood carvings under its roof, and lively paintings on its walls. Many visitors came to appreciate its magnificent architecture.
