Liked: Good location. Opposite the train station.

Disliked: Pretty old facility in a shopping mall. Rooms are very simple. Good enough for one night stay.

Liked: This hostel located in city central where I can get buses, trains and not far to MRT station.

Disliked: No staff available in late night. Furniture is old and poor condition.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, always relaxed. Super location, in the center of everything. Good value for the money, and a small breakfast is included.

Disliked: Walls are really thin, so if other guests are not considerate and talk in their rooms, it may keep you awake. Most rooms don't have air-con, and it can get pretty hot and humid.

Liked: the location which is the center of all activities that you wish for. It is centrally located to get the right transportation wherever you want to go in Taipeh. Cross the street from the hotel the Central Train and MRT Station and another 3 mins walk is the Central Bus Terminal. You will find all kinds of business establishment surrounding the Hostel and all kinds of restaurants operate at the lower floors of the same bldg.The friendliness of the staff, Rocky, Jennifer will surely be missed all the guests.

Liked: There is a lady who will always clean the room every day from 12pm to 3pm. It is really a good location as the main train stations are just right infront of the hostel (located in k-mall). My itinery was to Jiu fen, Ye liu, night markets like shilin and ximending, cks memorial hall, tan shui, maokong gondola. So in terms of travelling, its super easily accessible.

Disliked: The blanket are alittle dirty and dusty.

Liked: The location was excellent. View of the city was great! Happened to catch the view of firework from my room.. Simply love it's location!

Disliked: The common area is rather cluttered and not very well kept. Boss, Mr Holo was too "overwhelming", guess he must be quite tipsy whenever we holds conversation.

Liked: The location is ideal. Directly opposite Taipei Main Station.

Disliked: It wasn't very clean. There are hotels close to this hostel which are the same price, or cheaper.

Liked: Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, and quiet. The only noise comes from the outside but inside it's really quiet.

Disliked: Very basic and doesn't provide towels (at least not that I'm aware of) but overall, excellent location.

Liked: The location is brilliant. Just over the road from the Main Bus and Train station. There is a metro just outside which can take you all over Taipei (20NTD about 40pence). The staff are helpful and speak English.

Disliked: The room was advertised as a "private single room" and it was literally a single bed a chair and a small desk cramped in. But if you are just looking for a clean bed for the night then it is OK.

Liked: The hostel is an excellent location. In the centre of Taipei opposite the main station great central point for exploring the city. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I found the room a little noisy as other guests insiste don using the a/c at ungodly hours.. the a/c was just outside my window.

Disliked: the rooms are all on different floors which makes it hard to meet other people. Also,.the owner is kinda creepy and seems to be an alcoholic

Disliked: room was tiny, had no windows, paper thin walls and not on the same floor as the reception - so no wifi in the room.

Liked: This Hostel is in an excellent location right opposite to the main train & high speed rail stations and the Metro (an entry point to these outside the K-Mall building which the Hostel is in). Also across the road to the main bus station for the bus to and from the airport. There is a big department store next door to the K-Mall building with a big food court in the basement level so very convenient and an easy 10-15 minute walk or Metro to the main square of Taipei. Free Internet and drinks and breakfast (toast) available. Mr Holo is a very friendly owner of the Hostel and very knowledgeable about travelling and all of the staff were very friendly too. A very good cheap and friendly place to stay in a great location.

Disliked: The beds were a bit hard and the noise from the air conditioning units but for the price, I was still pleased.

Liked: perfect location especially if it is your first time in taipei and does not know your way around. it is right next to the main railway and bus station.

Disliked: room we got is several floors away from the main hostel reception and facilities so we had to go up to have access to wifi and the other hostel amenities.

Liked: The owner and staff treated everyone like family members. The office functions 24 hours. Everyone is very polite, friendly, extremely helpful, and caring. Jenny is like a mother to all. The breakfast, all day tea and coffee, availability of fridge and kitchen for light cooking, office services, free interent, usageof several computers, and more, make the place just like being home. The bathrooms are large and very clean., The locvation is excellent. The landmarks are well known to all. On the right is Cesar Park Hotel. On the left is the Mutsokoshi department store. You can't go wrong. The airport bus stop right opposit the building which is the main bus station. The pharmacy, 100s oof food outlets, 7-11, railway station, bus station, bus tops, post office, Mc Donalds, facny coffee houses are right around K Mall building. My room was on the 20th floor. I had a spectacular view each morning. It was just like home.

Disliked: Overall maintenance can be improved. There was a hole in the door above the key hole. It was patched & stuffed with paper. That makes the door insecure. A deodoriser in the dorm room would help to get rid of the musty smell.
