Liked: Clean place. Very nice staff. They even lent me a coat when the weather got cold!

Disliked: Quite a lot of mosquitos in my room!

Liked: Excellent, central location. Everything was really close to the hostel. From the 22nd floor you could get some nice views of Taipei. It was easy to communicate with the staff because their english was alright.

Disliked: No window in the room, outdated directions.

Liked: Great location, MRT, city/airport bus just across the street. Food and shopping all around. Free basic breakfast, all day hot beverages, drinking water, wifi n 3 internet PCs, jackets (as it was winter when I was there, really COLD), maps, travel reading material, LCD TV in common room. Daily cleaning. Friendly, helpful staff like Lo, Jennifer, Chuck, Joy, Spring n a pretty lady which I forgot to get name. I booked a twin room but when I requested room with window/view, they upgraded me to triple room with nice window view. Very grateful. As it was during CNY, they even threw a CNY dinner treat on the 6 th day. Great value. Able to meet many new friends during breakfast. We were treated like own family. Left with lasting good impression. Definitely will return.

Liked: Mr. Holo invites you into his office to smoke a cigarette (very strict smoking-policy in the rest of the building) and drink saké with him. This is really nice of him, but I was just not used yet to saké at 8am. Fine single room for €20, small but ok.

Disliked: It was cold, because the Taiwanese do not have heathing in theis builings, just airco. I thinks it's the same in all of Taiwan and it's no problem in summer time.

Liked: It was right next to the railway station The lady who ran it was lovely

Disliked: The rooms were freezing cold, very small for the price we paid and the walls were very thin

Liked: They were very friendly, the owner is funny and kind.

Disliked: We had a slight problem with the lock on our door not working, but they got it fixed right away. We went to have a sandwich and by the time we got back it was done. Breakfast is very basic, toast and coffee; but it is nice for being on the go.

Liked: It's really a nice place to stay, friendly staff and people from all over the world, u will like stay in your home, so warm and nice, location is GREAT~

Liked: location is great. staff are very friendly and helpful. breakfast is provided.

Disliked: stay 2 separate nights. first night in a dorm room on a different floor from the reception floor, so there are actually no internet available in the dorm room. the 2nd night in a twin room. the twin room was much smaller than expected but definitely livable.

Liked: the staff were very friendly, smiley and helpful.it was in a good location and well connected to all transport and services.

Disliked: i can't say that there was anything I really disliked- it was a great place to stay with standard servive and top notch staff.

Liked: Good location in terms of transportation within and beyond Taipei. Late night check in no problem. Helpful and friendly staff. Stayed in one of the double ensuite private rooms so cannot comment about other rooms or their facilities. Stayed 2 nights initially then 2 nights away in Hualien. Returned to the hostel for the final 3 nights of our stay in Taipei. The first room was without a wardrobe. The second room (24th floor) was in a better condition with wardrobe

Liked: the best location, it is just infront of the Taipei Main Station (MTR) where you could move around the city without hassle. Down the first few floors of the Hostel is the K-Mall where you could buy nice stuffs. You do not have go elsewhere.... Beside is the the very famous Mitshukoshi Department Store which it is used to be the highest building in Taipei before the Taipei 101. But what made my stay more exciting is the nice staff... friendly and ever-accommodating.
