Liked: very clean and the breakfast was really great, the best (and only) one i had in switzerland!

Disliked: place was a bit far from the sights and the price was a bit expensive, but i guess that's switzerland

Disliked: It is a long way from the city, but if you get the transport Pass its quite a nice ride into town.

Liked: clean, secure, breakfast is very good.

Disliked: shower was crappy, clean but no pressure and difficult tap to work with. the location is not central and it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the hostel from the main station but not so difficult. overall the problem is that this hostel is very expensive for what it offers, even in comparison to the better hostel I had in Basel that cost almost 12 Franks less a night (though you do get breakfast here). Internet is ridiculously expensive (6 Franks an hour without laptop, 3 Franks with) and they charge you an additional 6 Franks as a non-member of the Youth Hostel Group.

Liked: Very clean, bed and sheet are news and clean too...The room was perfect and confortly....

Disliked: They haven´t the separate room option and everything is expensive. The hostel is far away from the centre and the night life....So after them 23h you have to take a taxi...They haven´t kitchen and place to cook, so you have to buy their dinner...(its very expensive, I ate in the restaurant for the same price)....

Liked: The place was nice and just as expensive as everything in switzerland. they had maps but when they send you to one tram station and tell you to get off on another it got us lost one night for couple hours. fairly easy to navigate and they gave us some nice places to go... the zoo was great as was the walking tour

Disliked: no real bar area to meet other travelers everyone just kept t themselves

Liked: There were good showers and a nice breakfsat too. Lots of room to move about and meet people too.

Disliked: The oonly minor problem was distance from the tram stop, but we had a very heavy bag to move.

Liked: not much.

Disliked: this hosel made me feel not good at all. from when i checked in to when i left i never felt comfterble at all. and i had to pay for wifi, first time ever. never going back.

Liked: Each Room has lockers and two lavatories. The breakfast is good and plenty

Disliked: A bit outside of the center, takes about 20-30 minutes to get somewhere. Remember that they add about 9 CHF per night to the price (see hostel description text)

Liked: The bathrooms were clean and the building itself was nice. 15mins from centre city by tram.Breakfast is good, and included but given the price it should be!

Disliked: The hostel staff were generally unhelpful and grumpy. Service to get anything done took 5-10mins, even to check out. The room was ok, but my mattress had old blood stains on it! They do mention the extra charges on the website but 1 bed in dorm room ended up costing 40 euro plus charges for wireless internet, 3CHF for 50min, 1CHF 10mins on their computers, hot water for coffee etc. No kitchen, ok, but no fridge available to keep food in either which was annoying in preparing for long early morning train next day. Difficult to stay at this place on a budget as no cheap restaurants/cafes around and their snacks menu is very limited...
