Liked: I liked the facilities... there was a bar and included breakfast. The staff is helpful and the whole place is very secure.

Disliked: It's expensive for a hostel, even for Zurich it seemed it should have been cheaper. The wifi is free but requires an annoying registration process which requires a cell phone... travelers from the US especially may have trouble with this!

Disliked: Even though its the cheapest accommodation in town, it's not worth the money.

Liked: Easy to find, not too far from the city centre. Rooms are very nice and the hostel is well equipped with a very large common area inside and out. Best hostel breakfast ive had!

Disliked: The restaurant was a bit expensive.

Liked: friendly kind woman ran it who was a traveller herself so really helped us out, went to great efforts to ensure we were comfortable

Liked: It was a large, neat, clean and tightly run hostel.

Liked: Free breakfast and free wifi are convenient, and the rooms each have a sink, which is also nice. It's expensive, but its the cheapest place to stay in Zurich.

Disliked: The hostel is expensive (but everything in Zurich is expensive), it is sooo far away from everything. It is on the far end of town, so you have to take a tram (20 minutes or so) to get to and from the train station or main city area. It also lacks the typical hostel atmosphere and feels more like a hotel. They also charge you 6 CHF per person/per night if you are not a member of Youth Hostel international.

Liked: The enviroment, lots of people from everywhere, the breakfast, the building, the room. The social area.

Disliked: Is not in the center of the city. Anyway its a tram very close to the hostal and in 10 min youre in the center of the city.

Liked: Very clean place! Wifi included. The people are all awesome. The night guy who works the front desk is the coolest guy we've met and really helped us out in the nightlife scene. The location is only 10 mins away from the city and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Disliked: The breakfast was pretty lame. Their convenience store was expensive as well as their over priced dinner, bar, and locker charge. I also wish the wifi was in the room itself and not just the lounge downstairs.

Disliked: the rooms are quite small and location wise it is quite out of the city centre

Liked: Clean, secure.

Disliked: It is quite a way out of the city center, and it lacks many of the social aspects that I have come to expect from my travels in central Europe. In particular, there public transport there is a hassle, especially if you're arriving late. We spent the day before leaving in Zurich, and we took our huge packs on our backs and paid 5 francks at the train station for storage, rather than taking the tram (and walking) back to the hostel one more time.

Liked: Excellent hostel accommodation. Very easy to find and the staff were extremely helpful as this was my first visit to Switzerland.

Disliked: Too expensive for a hostel in a suburb. Different rates for members and non-members, which was not made clear during booking (mentioned casually in the footnote)!

Liked: It was more like a hotel than a hostel. It was very clean and it felt very safe. The breakfast that they served was great to eat before a day of exploring.

Disliked: It was a little bit pricey for my budget. I have been to much cheaper hostels that serve a light breakfast and coffee/tea all day long. I also really disliked the fact that there was no kitchen available for cooking. food is very expensive in Zurich and it would have saved a lot of money if we had somewhere to make our own dinner.
