Liked: Excellent staff, Wi-fi in lobby and cafeteria, and good food.

Disliked: When walking it is a bit far and not a clear address, but still worth the trek.

Liked: Its location was beautiful and easy. The staff was great, and in reality I think it was a great deal because it included meals.

Liked: The girl at the reception desk was very helpful. Everything in Switzerland is expensive, but compared to other places, the hostel was a good value considering. Loved the dinner and breakfast that were included. Very good! Also liked the free wifi, laundry facilities, free baggage watch after check out, etc. Room was clean and adequate for a good nights sleep.

Disliked: A little farther from the train station that I remembered! But otherwise no complaints!

Liked: My dorm window was like a picture frame of the Matterhorn. There is no better place to stay in Zermatt with a clear, unrestricted or blocked view of the Matterhorn. The meals (breakfast and dinner) are excellent too. Staff is friendly, dorms and bathrooms are clean. This hostel is excellent for those who want to hike, experience nature, eat well and get a good night's rest without a party atmosphere.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing. I have stayed here 4 times and would definitely stay again.

Liked: They had buffet breakfast and dinner! It was also very clean!

Disliked: I must say that I totally hated the location of the hostel, but this is because we had heavy luggage.

Liked: everything. more expensive than normal hostels, but the inclusive breakfast and evening meal make it worth it. brilliant rooms, staff, bathrooms and scenery!!!

Liked: Great value for money with breakfast and supper included in the price. Very comfortable rooms and beds.

Disliked: No free internet. There were not as many young people staying there as I expected, more of a family vibe.

Liked: Good breakfast and dinner. Good mattresses.

Disliked: Unfriendly receptionist; put down in the dungeon; very little info eg on Cornugraft railway; compared to the Interlaken Youth hostel, this is the pits!

Liked: clean, and location was great

Disliked: our last night we were put in a room with a man in his 70s who went to bed at 8pm, so we couldnt do anything in the room without disturbing him after that, and as a result ended up leaving the room for a few hours as we couldnt talk in there without disturbing him. perhaps they should people pf the same age group together, instead of mixing ages in that way

Liked: Room is of reasonable size for 6 persons. Each person has a light and plug to recharge battery and a railing to hang towels and clothes. Bathrooms and toilets are clean.

Liked: I was charged 24CHF more than what the quote said for taxes which werent included in the original price. It is a fair walk from the train station with luggage (15 minutes, last 5 mins very steep). Good breakfast and dinner are provided free. The room was clean and comfortable, however no curtains on the windows.

Liked: A great hostel with gorgeous views of the Matterhorn! 4 course dinner included was fantastic. clean, safe and very friendly staff. easy to meet people at this hostel.

Liked: I went slightly out of season, so the hostel was quite quiet, but I can imagine it being a great place when the skiers are there, or even in the summer. May is very quiet in all of Zermatt generally. The facilities, beds and cleanliness of this hostel are generally excellent. Furthermore, the food included in the price of the night is well worth the extra money. Recommended highly.
