Vanessa Macias FernandezIT WAS SOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN IN THIS GREAT HOSTEL..... Great value for your money. We met really nice people. Felt very safe. Every bed has his own big locker . Year round skiing and a very good Hiking infrastructure. The staff has a lot of maps and informations. Take the breakfast for 7 Franks, it is a good deal in this high end ski resort. Their is also a good, cheap English Pub/Restaurant in the same building, so you can safe a lot of money. Absolutamente recomendable. Un saludo |

Customer reviewReally nice place in one of the most famous ski resorts in Europe. A bargain for Zermatt, only 34 bucks a dormbed. Super friendly and helpful staff. Not bad as so many comments. I have had a super good time and I met a lot of nice peoples. Same street (5min. to walk) as the main Ski Gondola to the slopes and the Mt. Kleine Matterhorn (13000ft.) We went skiing and have had a great time at the Glacier and the slopes. |

Alex ThomasArhhhh!!!! The horror!!!! D*** bed bugs won't dieeee!!!! Horror detailed: 1. Blankets which feel like pu**s - stupidly itchy hairy blankets all night!! - Where did they acquire these blankets from?!?!? Collected hairs from the barber's shop?? 2. Blood sucking bed bugs!! - Red swollen bite marks on every limb of my body. - B*****s decided they loved me so much they wanted to come home with me!! Arrrgggg!!! Currently quarentining goods. Apparently my fuzzy jacket makes for a good home - Their flat unsquishable cockroaches so they become your friend long time!! 3. Showers arrggg!! Painful experience!! - Start the shower, Ok - Burn yourself, ouch - Freeze your bum then burn it again, ouch - Light goes off... Bump head in the pitch black **Unhappy words here**.... - Finish pitch black shower, burn and freeze ritual and come out and walk up from downstairs. 4. Reception closed from 10 - 4 - People that arrived at 11 have a long wait in the smelly basement. Yay 5. But wait!! You can still gain a short term room anyway since the place is open from downstairs and rooms are unlockable!! 6. Breakfast didn't look too great for the price 7. Searching for the place!!! (10-15 mins from station) SINCE THEY DIDN'T PROVIDE ONE FOR YOU I SHALL FURBISH YOU WITH DIRECTIONS! - Walk straight up main street (past bars) until you reach the happy marmot statue (tastey drinking water) / church. - Take a left and cross river - At old Zermatt restaurant take 1st right and walk along the upper canal side 8. Microwaves are EXCELLENT VALUE at 2 CHF per plate to heat. Woohoo!! 9. "Kitchen" has no sink - Use the toilets Decent/ Expected stuff: 1. Free wifi 2. Cheapest place in zermatt 3. Good view of Matterhorn on the street outside hostel (non cloudy day!) - Then again almost everywhere in Zermatt has a good view of the Matterhorn - Pretty good if your homeless |

Customer reviewLocation great, they had big lockers but the issue was that ANYONE can simply walk in off the street straight through the "closed" reception upstairs and into any room of choice. Plus we had bed bugs - big PHAT bed bugs, just don't leave your bag on the floor because it gets infested overnight. |

Customer reviewIt is the cheapest in town, which is good, and the woman at the counter was super friendly. On the other hand, we woke up with bites from bugs, the showers were 3 flights of stairs away in the cold, cold basement, the lockers were old (though working), the "linens included" didn't include a cover sheet - just a fitted sheet and a wool blanket. |

YAOGANG ZHANGIts reli kinda a dirty place with bad security.. the doors cant be locked.. the location isnt that good like, still 15mins from the train station/ but one little secret that follow the street walking towards the hostel would be a very nice photo point for the matterhorn.. |

Kevin HeissThe hallways and staircases in the hostels were very tight (not much room especially with a bag). It's also a noisy hostel (wooden floors made a lot of noise when walking on them and you could hear everything through the walls that seperated the dorms). |

Customer reviewGood location, not far from the station, close to the centre and very near the mountains - close to the station of a cable car to Matterhorn. Reception could be open a little longer in the evening though. |

Aryn GabaiIt was the cheapest place in town, which was good, because if it wasn't, it wouldn't be worth the money. The showers are poor, the "lockers" have shady locks at best, and the reception has poor hours. Plus, no kitchen and no place to safely store your bags prior to check-in or after check-out. One of the least recommended hostels I've been to. |

Customer reviewEverything is OK as the price, but one thing: It was so cold at night because we couldn't use heater!! I think main power switch is off, so all insides of house are cold. It's still fall, but they should turn the heaters!!! One girl was really freezing and I woke up 6times during sleeping... |
