Liked: Well, it's tough to be unhappy in these mountains (despite how touristy Zermatt is). And the hostel is sorta tucked away in a quieter, less-trafficky location. Gerry was super helpful and friendly and the coffee was actually super good in the morning. The place was fairly well kept up and most of the rooms had a mini balcony. Other than that, there wasn't much common-room space (although I imagine once the bar/restaurant opens for the summer there will be).

Liked: The hostel is nice even it is a bit too old and the toilet was a bit smelly because the lacking of a ventilator. Shower rooms were enough for everyone in the hostel. Breakfast is very nice and the staffs were very friendly and cute...just the reception was too small (sometime people needed to stand on stairs waiting to be service).

Liked: The reception guy was very helpfull and kind!The only thing I think the hostel could improve a litle bit with the cleaning of the floor and the facilities of the kitchen! Everything elses was good!

Liked: safe and close to lifts. They only give you a wool blanket and a pillow though so if you want something more you will have to bring a sleeping bag or an extra sheet
