Liked: the bed seems old, no kitchen and lift. I took about 30mins to find the hostel, there is no instruction and guide to find the hostel. which is not close to train station.

Liked: The room that we stayed were very small and squeezy. Staff is not very friendly too.

Liked: The hallways and staircases in the hostels were very tight (not much room especially with a bag). It's also a noisy hostel (wooden floors made a lot of noise when walking on them and you could hear everything through the walls that seperated the dorms).

Liked: Good location, not far from the station, close to the centre and very near the mountains - close to the station of a cable car to Matterhorn. Reception could be open a little longer in the evening though.

Liked: It was the cheapest place in town, which was good, because if it wasn't, it wouldn't be worth the money. The showers are poor, the "lockers" have shady locks at best, and the reception has poor hours. Plus, no kitchen and no place to safely store your bags prior to check-in or after check-out. One of the least recommended hostels I've been to.

Liked: Everything is OK as the price, but one thing: It was so cold at night because we couldn't use heater!! I think main power switch is off, so all insides of house are cold. It's still fall, but they should turn the heaters!!! One girl was really freezing and I woke up 6times during sleeping...

Liked: the showers where filthy, had to give CHF 25 each deposit for room key or a passport! breakfast was CHF 9 for some bread and jam - dont bother with that its a total rip off

Liked: Good location very near Matterhorn Express Lift (the main one) and also Papperla/Schneewittchen. Also small supermarket c. 200m away. For Zermatt unbelievably cheap. Only two real (and minor) negatives: ski room shuts between 11am and 4pm so if you miss the window you can't get your skis out and showers (although well-maintained and with better than normal privacy) have to be held in hand while in use.

Liked: Across town from the station, but Zermat is only small. Zermatt is an amazing place, so finding a hostel was lucky. View from my window was amazing. Breakfast was rather diappointing.

Liked: Good location! We could see the beautiful Alps from our windows. But the heater in our bedroom did not work, so it was extremely cold at night.
