Set amidst large gardens and featuring a sun terrace with magnificent views of the Jungrau mountain range, the family hotel Alpenrose in Wilderswil is a truly relaxing place to stay.

All of the en-suite rooms have an attractively rustic decoration and feature a minibar and most of them offer superb mountain views. The homely lounge and bar area as well as the games and reading rooms invite you to spend relaxing hours.

There is a large car park and the bus and train stations and the shopping area are only a 3-minute walk away from the Alpenrose hotel.

The picturesque village of Wilderswil, only 3 km from Interlaken, is the ideal starting point at any time of the year for excursions, hikes, sports and adventures. Excursions to the Jungfraujoch, to Schilthorn or Piz Gloria, or boat trips on the Thun and Brienz lakes are just some of the numerous options for a day trip. The imposing Trümmelbach waterfall, the St Beaus prehistoric caves, the Aare gorge and the open-air Ballenberg museum are just a short bus or train ride away.

Wilderswil is also an ideal starting point for winter sports in the Jungfrau region.
