This historical hotel is similar to a “bed and breakfast”. It is located in the heart of Romainmôtier and has a traditional building dating back to the 16th century.

It features a lovely garden with a stream and has non smoking rooms. The main living room is equipped with a piano and fire place.

Breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beautiful breakfast room with wooden interior.

The owners knew how to preserve the wall and ceiling paintings, the “Kachelöfen” (tiled stoves) and the lovely garden next to the prior’s house.

The hotel received a special award from the ICOMOS (International Council for Monuments and Sites) in 2009 for its historic architecture.

Our rooms are very special: spacious, romantic, furnished with antiques, all with bath or shower and toilet. They are spacious and cozy.

From the nearby Nozon Gorge to the Jura’s crest, through the forest, relaxing in the thermal bath of Yverdon, visiting the medieval castles and the caverns on the way to the next gourmet stop, you will learn again how to live.

In winter, the cross-country ski runs in the famous “Vallée de Joux” are only 15 minutes away.
