Liked: It was way to get to on the bus from the.station. The staff were very helpful. The wifi was amazing. If you too lazy yo go into town at night you can buy dinner there which may.seem expensive but you have to remember you are in switzerland and every thing is expensive there..

Disliked: A kitchen would have been helpful, also wifi upstairs too.

Liked: It was easy to find with all the help from the tourist office, bus driver, and basically anyone else I met on the street. The free breakfast buffet was incredible! Sheets were clean, beds were comfortable, WIFI signal was great, and the front desk people were incredibly helpful. It was the best hostel I've stayed in so far!

Disliked: Nothing, it was great.

Liked: Not much. breakfast was pretty good.

Disliked: Reception lady was rude and patronizing. whacked on extra charges with little explanation. Only told us after we had paid that it was same sex rooms. this was not stated on the website. big hostel full of lots of annoying school kids because it is on a school camp location. Not usually this negative about hostels, but this one was really dodgy.

Liked: It's quite far from the train station. Actually it takes about 25 mins with luggages from the station to the hostel. And there are too many rules and no lock at the room.

Liked: Was clean, when I was there I was the only one in my room for 5 nights, so difficult to meet people. This was mid December though, so maybe just less travellors around. Long dark walk to the centre, so felt a little uncomfortable doing it at night. Bus stop is very close though and easy to get to on bus from train station. Staff were nice, showers good. Lucerne is a nice place to have a base and go on trips up mountains and to nearby places! Breakfast was delicious and free!
