Liked: I did not like the fact that the key cards would often not work. This was an off and on problem but we were so woried about not being able to get back into our room that we would always leave one person in the room to open the door if any of us had to leave.I told the person at the desk about this problem and she pretended to take a note about this but this was obvious that the staff knows that this is an ongoing problem and they do nothing about it. It seems that this hostel charges more money than any of the others and they do not put any of the money back onto the upkeep of the hostel. We would not stay here again nor would we recomend it.

Liked: Michael and the woman at the front desk were great...we met a lot of great people and really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to anyone!

Liked: It was a nice clean hostel, but it was a youth hostel which encouraged school groups to stay there. It was frustrating to have about 50 13year olds running through the halls and throwing things at your windows.

Liked: Easy bike rental, free breakfast was AMAZING, location was not that great but in the end it was fine

Liked: Locked cabinets in the rooms!!!! The fact that we each got our own key, breakfast was included and the bedding was very comfortable.

Liked: THe staff were very friendly and the hostel was easy to get to from the main train station, it even had it's own stop on the bus route. Although it was a bit pricey for what you get Switzerland is an expensive place in general so it balanced out.

Liked: The staff was very helpful and qualified, and the cleanliness of the hostel was really pleasant and satisfying. However, the hostel lacked character - there was no bar, the pool table was deserted, and the television playing a Championship's League match was being watched by a lone spectator. Internet was provided but the quality of the computers was less than par. On the positive side, the free breakfast and cheap dinner was really enjoyable.
