Liked: It's close to attractive -sites and near railway station.

Liked: It was very close to city center and also to the train station

Disliked: the breakfast was really expensive ! 15 euro!

Liked: No bad location.

Disliked: When I checked out, they told me that I have to pay about 7.6% more as tax, which I have never met in other places of Switzerland or some other countries. Of course, they should put this tax inside their price before, instead telling the guests when they check out.

Disliked: no lift had to drag heavy luggage to second floor.

Liked: We got upgraded to the 3 star hotel a few min down the road.

Disliked: The people who cleaned up the room did not do a very good job. We had very little toilet paper left and he did not put another roll.

Liked: We had booked the Roesli Hotel Pension initailly and due to its ongoing renovation, we were asked to check in at Hotel baslertor which was a good hotel The hotel ambience was good and the location was also good, though a bit far from the Lucern hbf. The room was good & spacious, but the bathroom was too small for a person to enjoy the bath. The welcome and the hospitality were not upto the mark. As a newbie to swiss and to lucern we expected some advice on the sightseeing in lucern, but the hotel staff were not to be seen in the reception area at all. Overall enjoyed the trip, but not the hotel.

Liked: we were given at room at hotel baslertor just opposite hotel roesli pension since it was occupied. baslertor was pretty nice but the room we got was small and we were charged an extra 15chf per night for some tax which was not stated in the hotel description.
