Liked: Walter is very friendly and nice, and the breakfast is incredible value with more food than we could eat for breakfast and lunch (Walter gives you plastic bags to save it for lunch) We also really liked the fondue for tea, particularly the icecreams in the little cups, and swiss wine. Having a kitchen is very convenient, and the location is good. Free buses are a bonus of Interlaken

Disliked: The bathroom is a little strange, but fine. Rooms are tired, but very comfortable and spacious

Liked: 1. Location - witihin walking distance of the Interlaken East train station, lake cruise,Koop supermarkets, shopping areas and Harder Kulm. 2. Peaceful and quite surrounding. 3. Clean rooms (we had 2 private rooms with 1 private shared toilet), toilet and kitchen.

Liked: For traveller, place convenience, clean and secure are most important. Walters Bed & Breakfast is fulfill all traveller requirments.

Liked: Good location, 10 mins from station and town centre. Large rooms. Great breakfast.

Disliked: Kitchen and bathroom were quite modern but needed a good clean.

Liked: The room was spacious and it had a lovely view of the mountains. Walter's breakfasts were fabulous and were enough to feed us all day. We made use of the washing service and that was very good too. It was about 10 minutes from the station ( without luggage). Very convenient spot for traveling around the area.

Disliked: Nothing much to dislike.

Liked: The owner is helpful and kindly welcome to us. The room is good and clean. The kitchen is good for our family to cook. I like this place to stay.

Disliked: Only the construction nearby make some noise in the morning but did not disturbing us much. The surrounding are good to stay.

Liked: Our room was big, beds enough for three people and a table fit for four to have our meals. The price is also quite value for money at 33 francs a person. Walters also sells some drinks and the price is not too bad although not as cheap as the local coop eg 1.50 francs for 500ml coke if i remember correctly Also, being located at interlaken ost, the area has less tourist than at interlaken west n hence quite peaceful. We also walked leisurely to the mouth of lake brienz in abt half an hour from walter's and it seemed we were the only tourist there most of the time.

Disliked: I had asked for a room with a private toilet but wasn't given one..

Liked: The rooms are very nice and for a great value. The owner of the bed and breakfast is very friendly and helpful.

Liked: The best thing about this place is Walter himself. He is really helpful and friendly. He tries to answer all the questions you have and gives you extra advice on what to do. He even bought a couple of bottles of soda water for all of us to share haha. The only real down fall of this place is its not very clean. The room was really dusty and it gave me some allergy problems plus the place looks really old and needs an overall good clean, but he tries to make up for it by putting chocolates in the room. The beds are also pretty comfortable and the hostel is only a short walk from the town center.

Liked: pay less but gain mre with big breakfast , huge room, easy to access ,not far from zentrum, coop and train statin nearby.

Disliked: not making and clean up room everyday, no new towels for new day, toilet is not clean enough.

Liked: The owner Walter makes it sure that you enjoy your stay there and tell you where to go and what to do! There is free wifi too which is an additional plus! We did not have a private bath or shower, but it was not a big problem as it was next to our room and we were the only ones staying there as it was off peak. Walter allowed us to use his kitchen and we had fun cooking our dinner :)

Disliked: The place was abit dusty. Our room was still clean but outside the room, the walkways may need some cleaning.

Liked: A one man show with Walter doing everything but he does it with a smile. Friendly, helpful, great base for the Alps. The breakfast is fantastic and set out to cover 2 meals which is a big cost saver.
