Liked: Mr Walters give good recommedation regds to sights-seeing location in interlaken. Also missed big portion of breakfast that was prepared.

Liked: It was more like a home than a hostel- it had a kitchen, private rooms . . . it was amazing. Walter was really nice and helpful too. It's really close to the train station, so that was really convenient. The hostel was great- stay there!

Liked: nice and quiet, good for a relaxing weekend and close to the train station. Not the place for those who want a more upbeat atmosphere/bar scene.

Liked: Walter was very friendly and we had the best breakfast we've ever had at a B&B (and we've stayed in quite a few!). The breakfasts were cheap and filling. Walter even gave us a bag to take some of it with us as a picnic. The rooms were spacious and we got Toblerone chocolates on our pillows.

Liked: Lovely quiet place, especially for couples. Walter provided a huge breakfast with hot food, bread, yoghurt, hot chocolate etc ...very yummy and he even gave enough supplies for lunch. The hairdryer (not often found at hostels) was very much appreciated! Room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom.

Liked: It was quiet and clean. Walter was extrememly friendly and helpful and his cheese fondue was excellent and the best deal in town!

Liked: I loved Walter (the owner)'s hospitality...he was just amazing...very helpful...everything was fresh and clean...he provided us with excellent breakfast...according to our preferences (for ex: we were vegetarians n he made sure of tht) Although i would suggest the kitchen should have a kettle and a microwave...there was internet and the b&b had it's own postcard : a very nice illustration of Walter's B&B on the card...the whole experience was divine n memorable...if i were to visit interlaken again...Walter's B&B it is!!!

Liked: Walter was incredible. Breakfast cost extra but was well worth the money - it was served in your room, with bags to wrap the remainder for lunch - it was more than enough for both meals. It felt like visiting a friend. There was also a nice swiss fondue available for cf15 pp. Room was nice though the furniture was old, and there was a kitchen to share with only a few people, with everything you need. A real winner

Liked: Large, clean, private rooms. Quiet and informal. You do pay by CASH though...so be prepared. Walter is a very nice man and never bothers you. It is a nice change from loud hostels.

Liked: Sir Walter is an amazingly nice man. He is very thoughtful, and makes delicious breakfast! The hostel is really relaxing, and is a perfect place to stay for a town like Interlaken. Don't go here if you plan to party all night long, but if you want a genuinely nice place to stay with a great host while you experience Interlaken, this is the place! We had a fantastic time, and if we ever get a chance to go back to Interlaken, we'll be certain to stay at Sir Walter's again!
