Liked: If you want lots of noise or parties this is not the place for you, but thats why we chose it and it was a really exellent base - the breakfast is really good value.

Liked: Walter was very nice and makes this a place worth staying. Our room was quite spacious and the shared bathroom was not a problem at all. The breakfast was excellent and we appreciated the extra food we were able to take for lunch (came in handy on a long train ride to our next destination).

Liked: Amazing stay if you are looking for a quiet bed and breakfast with privacy. If you want a frat party atmosphere, stay at Balmer's or Funny Farm. If you're with your significant other or want a nice place to call home, Walter's is your place. We went backpacking for 3 weeks through Europe, and Walter's was by far our best accomodations, it's not even close. Pay for the breakfast, b/c it's enough food for lunch too. The fondue dinner is a cheese fondue with bread, a bottle of wine, and coffee cups filled with vanilla ice cream. You get to keep the cups, which have smiley face designs on them and are really funny and cool. Great place, would highly recommend to anyone.

Liked: I loved the place, by walking distance from station, in a very cosy and clean house. the staff were very friendly and helpful. nice restaurants around. I recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Interlaken.

Liked: Very nice place, Walter was very friendly and welcoming. He ehlped us with travel to Joungfrau. Breakfast was very nice and it lasted us for Lunch as well. He served us more breads and advised us to pack some for lunch as well. Room was very spacious. I was very impressed with Walters hospitality.

Liked: Property is conveniently located at walking distance from Interlaken OST station, super market and restaurants. It provides excellent view of mountains. Though seems to be quite old, is well maintained and tidy.

Liked: Walter was an excellent host and he made us feel very welcome in his B&B. Both the breakfast and the fondue meals were fantastic, and a great value for your money. I had absolutely no complaints and would go back and stay again in a heartbeat, because Walter was wonderful!

Liked: This hostel is fantastic! It's not a party hostel, but quiet and good for families or couples. Mr. Walter is very sweet and makes the most amazing breakfasts, which are plenty for left overs for lunch. We also had his fondue dinner, delicious! This was the best hostel we stayed in during our 10 days in Europe.

Liked: Walter was extremely helpful and friendly. He personally cooked amazing breakfasts each day including bacon,eggs, fruit, coffee, croissants etc. and also provided extra meats and rolls for a packed lunch. The best value for money place I have ever stayed in and only 7 min direct walk from the train station. Would definitely stay there again - it was brilliant!

Liked: Lovely hostel, feel like a family house which included kichen as well. In the morning, there was a big shock for us becoz we saw the snow mountains is just front of us. It was just cool!!! And Walter was very warm and kind person as well. Very Recommend this hostel!

Liked: The host was amazing!!! Very nice and funny. He also made us a wonderful breakfast right in our room, and gave us doggie bags to take food for lunch. Hostel was awesome!
