Liked: Location is good. About 1 km distance from Interlaken OST (east) railway station as well as Interlaken west railway station. we could get the location by following google map. The staff in reception and kitchen are good. The cleaniliness is good.The room is kept warm by the room heater and in case you stay in the top floor moon and stars were visible from the roof top sky light. Staff were very much informative and helpful. The free internet facility at recption and WIFI facility is good. Complimentary breakfast with juice,etc is ok. The free bus pass for interlaken provided by them is also good. It is definitely value for money.

Disliked: If a traveler's expectation is very hi-fi big room and big toilets, spend more and go to other hotels.

Liked: La cocina es muy amplia y es muy comodo poder usar tanto baldas como la nevera para guardar los alimentos.

Disliked: La distribución, es un poco laberinto.

Liked: Good staff and easy to reach hostel.

Disliked: Bed sheets were not changed on second day and there is no hot water from wash basins.

Liked: Very full range of services. They offer just about everything you could need. I also appreciated the 6:30 am breakfast, as we were eager to get an early start on our day of hiking.

Disliked: The bunk beds in our private room.

Disliked: The map showed that our room was the bigger room but they have the wrong room numbers on the doors so our room was very small and rather noisy.

Liked: bus stand was 100 m from the hostel.. but there nothing much to be liked about this.

Disliked: Rooms are not cleaned properly by the cleaning staff. Rooms smell a lot.. Also towels are not given for taking bath

Liked: downstairs club so you dont have to walk to far back to yr bed. Good location, could book activities easily..if i had the money

Disliked: You sleep very close to another person,, the beds are just matresses

Liked: Everything. It was a great place to stay and Balmer himself showed up multiple time and is a great guy. The location is great and the people who traveled there were awesome. The kitchen is great, the food is great, and the atmosphere is great.

Disliked: The Indian bartender should be fired. I got in a argument with him whether or not I could use some salt and pepper for a meal, in which he told me I wasn't allowed to...needed to go buy it myself. If I knew his name I'd put it on here, but I don't. All the other staff was great though, a little strict, but great nonetheless. I feel if I pay to stay there and am a good customer...the hostel would be okay with me using a splash of salt or pepper and live. Again, seemed to be a isolated person. Stay away from him.

Liked: Nice hostel both to backpackers and independent travellers. Guest House is separated from the rest of the hostel so it's good value for money. Good bar/restaurant and nightclub. A must at Interlaken.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Free bus voucher (not sure whether other hostels there also have).

Disliked: Dirty kitchen with dozens of flies. Internet is extremely slow and often disconnect. Crowded and noisy. Shower facilities need to be improved. Most importantly, the reception is in serious shortage of staff and there is often a long queue there waiting for check-in/check-out or asking questions. Frankly, I am very disappointed with this hostel given its high recognition by other travellers.

Liked: The transportion card free which is also given away by other hostels.

Disliked: Reception staff extremely unfriendly. Check in was very disrespectful and I felt offedend. There is only one bathroom for all the rooms of the floor and showers close to the bedrooms so people taking shower in te middle of the night was a nightmare. Would not stay there again!!!!

Liked: I loved that there was breakfast included in the stay and that you could book trips and adventures right at the front desk. The atmosphere was very fun and provided good situations to meet other travelers.

Disliked: The quiet hours start at 10:00, which is sometimes good, but not all the time.

Liked: It's the place to be in Interlaken. Lots of people to meet, easy to program the sports to do and it isn't so expensive after all.

Disliked: The staff wasn't friendly, the receptionist didn't want to help me with tips and advices of where to go.

Liked: Almost everything. Definitely the best place in Interlaken. Fun club, good happy hours, activities through the hostel and clean rooms.

Disliked: Really budget breakfast. They tease you with hot breakfast you have to pay for and then give you a choice of cold oatmeal or plain bread.
