Customer reviewIt was large and pretty clean. The breakfast was one of the best that I've had at a hostel. But the whole point for most people in going there is because of the bar in the basement. It is loud and smoky-not enjoyable for me. But it was a well run hostel. Though all the neat things they have they stop usage when the bar opens so there is nothing to do in the evening except go to the bar, which is a bummer cause they some neat stuff at the hostel. Staff was really helpful in planning day trips. |

Customer reviewGreat atmosphere, plenty of people to meet always! Can book all activities at front desk, cute staff! And hostel houses most popular nightclub in the town so the party comes to you! Showers are pretty noisy in the mornings though, and people banging doors etc, showers are very strong too ouch!! But would def stay there again, its great, also has a great TV room with big couches and a movie every night, a luxury on the backpacker trail! Great place stay here!! |

Eileen Maganthis is a great hostel -- the staff is really helpful/informative about what to do/where to go and there is a cool restaurant/bar to meet people. the food is cheap and the beer is cheap during happy hour. the only complaint would be the beds aren't very comfortable/tiniest pillows ever. also the showers have almost TOO much water pressure. little bit painful. other than that, great hostel. |
