Qing YanAmazing hostel.Besides the traditional swiss building style,the staff there are so cute and friendly to us. Also it has a bar downstairs,it is good for us to meet people around the world.All in all this is the best hostel i have ever been to.Yes it also offer the cheapest price of swiss knife,no one should miss such a cute hostel |

Customer reviewToo big! I felt like cattle in a factory. There is a free kitchen, but it only has 5 pots for approx 250 guests. This is order to promote their overpriced burger. An example of their 'comercialism' is the fact that they even sell gadgets of their hostel (e.g. keychain, clothes, ...) |

Elana BanksDo yourself a favour and stay at Balmers when in Interlaken. So clean, staff are very helpful, and we met heaps of other travellers, great social atmosphere. Loved it, would definately come back! |

Customer reviewDidn't enjoy our stay at Balmers. They messed up our reservation then made it our problem... staff were rude and unhelpful and overcharged us. Food at the bar was disgusting, anyone staying in a dorm had to leave their room from 10am-4pm each day. Balmers is very overrated! |

Sona Klabnikova1) On the 1st of August the staff wore typical Swiss outfit. 2) From outside the hostel is nicely painted. Sorry, but that's all I liked, nothing else. |

Customer reviewGreat value, as long as you don't mind dorm living and a party atmosphere. Can't beat the location, and the free bus pass helps get you to the nearest train stations. Very helpful staff - maps, hiking trails, that sort of thing. Lastly, can't beat the happy hour. PS - Don't come here if you're trying to escape Americans!! Lots of college/recent-grad kids doing the summer tour of Europe. That being said - I had an awesome time. |
